just found this thread, but i just had to tell you that i always weigh in the a.m. before i eat or drink anything, and after i use the rr. funny, i know, but i want it to be as little as possible. so no, i don't think that's cheating! :)

I usually weigh in once a week in the morning but was just wondering if anyone else likes to weigh in after a sweaty run! Thanks all for you comments. I appreciate them;-)

I love weighing in after a nice sweaty run. It is always lower, from all the water loss. But I never use it as an official number, only just for fun. I always weigh myself in the morning too. Its always lower that way too! Anyone can put on a few pounds of water weight durning the day, depending on what their eating.
But when ever you choose to weigh in, just make it consistant, that way you'll know what your progress is.

I agree with whats allready been said. One of my exercise videos the leader says that swet is not weight loss, it's fluid loss and it needs to be replenished. That's my imput. I too weigh in after I wake up before I eat anything.
You'll probably gain some of that back as its probably down from all the sweating you did. As soon as you replenish the fluids you'll even out to where your weight actually is/should be for the moment.
It's not cheating :) It's just misleading for your weightloss purposes!

I would think that weighing yourself in the evening is not good. My nutritionist and my doctor have told me to weigh in just after I get up in the morning. Sometimes it is about an hour after I get up but definatly before eating. I would just make sure that you weigh at the same time during the day each weigh in. I am not trying to sound critital and I hope that it does not come off that way.

I was just wondering if I am the only one guilty of this?? I love to weigh myself after a nice sweaty run!! What do you think? Is it cheating????
I officially weighed in tonight but I was 2.5 pounds lower this morning after my run!!!
