1278 minutes of walking for the Idita-Walk, so officially I'm done with it, but will continue to walk through March, and then hopefully...weather allowing, I'll be back to running...

emoticon There is still time to register for this year's Idita-Walk.

emoticon The Idita-Walk is an event to promote physical fitness in the spirit of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. The Iditarod Sled dog race is 1049 miles long from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska. To complete the Idita-Walk, simply walk 30 minutes a day for 35 days between February 1, 2012 to March 31, 2012 for a total of 1049 minutes (any combination of minutes will work - just reach 1049 during the 60 day event!).

You can log your minutes anywhere you can walk! We hope you will join us this year!

All proceeds go to Camp Bronson maintenance, scholarships, and numerous youth related programs.
All participants receive a collectible Idita-Walk 2012 lapel pin
