Hi!!!! I understand what you mean by unclean re-fuelling, but ALL my great runs happen when I use this stuff, so I just can't knock it.
I believe most people find what works best for them through trial and error. Sweet potatoes work for me too. White potatoes just makes me gassy:)
Pasta, always works for me too.
I get 100% whole wheat pasta from either the grocery store or speciality stores.
I try to eat alot of wild salmon,as it's properties are great for the joints.
I also take a glucosimine supplement(don't know if it works)but I have no joint pain.
Most of my food is clean, it's just my re-fuelling choices that's not....sigh....but I guess I can't have it all.
Oh,,,Hammer products are not available in Nova Scotia, so no luck there.
