That sounds like exactly what I need to do! I am getting tired of looking for things in my kitchen and pushing the unclean things aside. Maybe I can find the time this weekend to get it done. Thanks for the idea!!!

I did the same thing, it was really hard to throw out food, it feels so wasteful, but I did it! I donated the stuff that wasn't open yet. It is still hard to resist buying processed foods when I see them on sale! But, I continue to resist.
I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.

When I purged my pantry, it was the perfect opportunity for me to create some weekly meal plans and new (clean eating) grocery lists. It helped me stay focused at the store and to make sure I was filling my pantry with clean items.
GOod for you sweet heart!!! I know I felt so much better after cleaning out our pantry and just getting rid of the stuff that I didnt want my family to eat anymore. I even went as far as cleaning out cabinets in gadgets that have collected more dust than anything. I have nice, clean, easy to find what ever it is I'm looking for cabinets and boy does it make me so much happier!!

Don't worry... it's not the bad kind :) I just had a revelation I had to share tonight, because it made me feel so good and alive. The last couple of weeks have been stressful. I'm getting married in two months and closing on a house tomorrow. As such, I've slacked on both my eating and fitness. But tonight I had a revelation. After finishing off a pizza and feeling terrible, I decided it was time to purge. I cleaned my fridge and pantry out of everything unclean. I also went through the rest of my stuff and got rid of all the unnecessary items I've collected. I feel more clear-headed than I have in weeks. I had an awesome clean dinner and I'm ready to take on all of my stressful events and get back into my fitness routine. If you're feeling bogged down like I was, I definitely suggest this remedy.
