Met up with nine of you via Spark People, at the PV Mall for a 3-mile mall walk! Yahoo!

Almost finished moving (another 2.5 hours of cardio) and did some serious gardening at old & new place for almost 2 hours of cardio. Too many exercise minutes to get credit for all of them on the points tracker.

Maybe I should say, "ditto!" Every day starts with "walk the dogs." Today, after walking the dogs, I have begun moving my boxes! Yep. I am moving. This will be the easiest move ever, as no trucks or cars are needed. I am moving directly next door. Will be taking much of the smaller stuff over on my own, friends coming tomorrow to help with the furniture.

Took the dogs a bit further today: a full 32 minutes! Followed that with core strength and awesome stretching. Packed my snacks, lunch, and dinner to take to work, as I will be attending a meeting directly after work.

Walked the dogs; mowed the grass (that is serious cardio, BTW); stayed near low end of calorie range; stretched. Doing my strength in a few minutes, while I watch THE VOICE!

Cardio & core strength this morning! Ate healthy today. Developed new vegetarian taco recipe that is simple & quick and = 358 calories for 2 tacos.

Used 1/2 tofurkey sausage, 2 organic taco shells, lettuce, onion, tomato, a wee bit of sharp cheddar & yummy habanero salsa from the farmer's market.

I'm beat. Totally blew through all today's exercise goals:

30 minute walk this morning, starting at 5:15 (beat the heat)
25 minute mow the back yard this morning (still trying to beat the heat)
50 minute yoga in the park at 10:30 this morning (I was early and got a shaded spot)
15 minutes of core indoors
30 minutes mowing the front yard this afternoon. The heat got me this time, it's 108 out there.

So far, over 10 glasses of water. Need it with all that activity!

I taught cardio kickbox, participated in activity with my personal training client, and may do some yoga later after making the SparkRecipe Chicken and Brocolli Casserole. Mmmm

I walked for 65 min. yesterday. I'll walk later today.

I walked nearly 3 miles yesterday.
I roasted zucchini, red bell pepper, and sweet potato.
I cut them into chunks or fairly thick slices before roasting.
Used olive oil and a little salt.
I really am going to try to roast without oil and salt and see how they turn out.

It's important to get those around us to eat healthy, too. And it helps us stay on task!

Did I say I roasted chick peas?
I love to make hummus so I always have chickpeas on hand. I buy them when they are on sale.
I read that you can roast chickpeas so on Sunday I tried it out. They are good. I think there is a chickpea roasting recipe on SparkRecipes or just google roasted chickpeas if interested.

They are crunchy! I loved them!

thanks! Hmmm fruit smoothies with spinach, what's that like? And how do you do that without having chunky smoothies, juicer?

So far we've learned a few new exercises including some we can do at home using our exercise ball, and how to use the eliptical machine. And Patch and Carlie have started wondering how to eat more healthily :) which is going to make eating at home much simpler since we are all three eating more healthy foods :)

I walked just over 3 miles this morning. When I got home I ate 2 whole eggs, 2 egg whites with hot sauce. And a fruit smoothie. I am adding spinach to my fruit smoothies now.

I ate a high protein high fiber breakfast 2 hours before my work out. I have my first appointment with my Personal Trainer at the new LA Fitness in Laveen today, wish me luck!

I hiked at Thunderbird Park for nearly 2 hours. The H1 trail.

I walked around my neighborhood 60 min. last night (3 miles).

I did Leslie Sansone DVDs Mon.-Thurs.

I weighed in first thing in the morning on the Wii and did some fun Wii work outs. I also avoided all the foods I'm allergic or intolerant to, even the angel food cake which has been sitting out on the counter all week and is now down to 1 piece. I had 1/2 a serving the other day and suffered for 2 days. Lesson learned (I HOPE) Then I cut up a pumpkin, and have some pumpkin soup on the stove. Feeling good and about to do some strength training :) What's everyone else doing to be healthy?
