I try to vary mine as much as possible so I don't get bored.

I do:
Chair Exercises
2 mile walk with Leslie Sansone
Denise Austin Workouts
Low impact Kick Boxing
Strength Training
Core exercises

I get Cardio exercise in each day and work with my body so that I push myself but not so far as to cause problems.

its cardio week at my house - lots of full body exercises. this morning was a circuit of:

Toe Taps (standing on floor, alternating legs tapping toes on the center of a Balance 360)
Box Jumps on Balance 360
In and Out Step Ups on a high step
North South East & West Jumps (jump forward, backward, side to side)

each full round (all 4 exercises) was for a different amount of time, 20 sec on, 10 sec of rest, then 40/20, then 60/30, then 40/20, then 20/10. after i did each exercise for the 20/10, then i'd move on to each exercise for 40/20, etc. etc.

after that was a few minutes of abs and i was out the door.

i have an awesome trainer to thank for thinking up this daily special. it would never have occurred to me to do this on my own - even though all these exercises can easily be done at home (you can use a soccer ball for the toe taps and a step for the box jumps. in and out step ups could be done on a kid-size step stool and you only need your body and some space for NSEW - oh and a stop watch or timer)

this was fast and effective, my favorite kind of workout.

I can't do much exercise but I take my dog out in the yard and walk around 4 or 5 times a day and walk down the block and visit/check on my brother. I do abt 15 minutes of yoga stretching everyday which has really helped my balance. emoticon

Wow! A 5k in 28 minutes! You rock! You are an inspiration!! emoticon emoticon emoticon I did a one mile in under 20, and my lst virtual 5k in just over 1 hour, but I am very happy since I never thought I would make it to be able to do that after a heart attack and health issues. It is definitely a great feeling! emoticon emoticon

I workout for an hour during the week. I alternate between the treadmill and elliptical in the gym we have at work. One week treadmill...then elliptical the next. I sometimes will use the treadmill at home or my Xbox (I have both Your Shape Fitness 2012 and EA Active 2 game). Plus lots of just walking. Have to feed my Fitbit those steps! emoticon

I walk a lot too, and I love to dance. I just dance in the kitchen or all over in the apartment, and let go! It adds up to a lot of steps too. emoticon emoticon

I do my workouts in the water - I swim, do strength training, aerobics classes, balance, stretching, and flexibility. I use noodles, kickboards, dumbbells, paddles, the bar under the diving platforms (for pullups). I do crunches, squats, wall push-ups, etc. I also tread water. When I swim, I swim anywhere from 1 mile up to 3 miles. I alternate what I do and keep moving and switching up for anywhere from 2 hours to 8 hours. I made a promise to myself that I would spend the entire summer in the pool and really work out until my muscle mass increased both as a number of pounds and as a percentage of my weight. So far it is working. My weight isn't dropping dramatically, but my muscle mass percentage and my pounds of muscle mass are both moving in the right direction. I am also wearing MUCH smaller sizes, feeling great and have been off the insulin (keeping healthy BS readings) for 16 days so far.

With love and caring from Nancy ... wishing all of you a wonderful, blessed, and precious day.

I am strength training 6x a week. Doing it different part of the body 2 days each. I started a c25k program - love that too this past week. On off days, I go on my stationary bike, I hike, go for a walk, play outside with my son and dog and also do yard work. Always trying to get some movement going!

Keep moving whenever you can!

The more movement the more pounds come off!

Today only comes once! Make it count!

One thing that is never regrettable - a workout!

Hi ladies!

Well, for me, I walk a lot and that's my main way of exercising. It is easy, simple and I don't have to do much to get started (which is important to me to keep things going). I started riding the stationary bike a couple of weeks ago using the little gym in the apartments where I live, and started weight training using dumbbells and the Workout Generator. I am really having fun and since all the activities are easily accessible, I am keeping up. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I do my strength training with the balance ball and dumbbells. I walk a lot. I use my exercise cycle. I usually take one day off a week.

God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.

For me, I do strength training every other day with a stability ball and dumbbells. I also got a pass to the Ymca, so I enjoy using the treadmill, and then going swimming in the pool afterwards. I also enjoy yoga and Wii Fit, and I have this awesome hula hoop that lights up and plays music, but I have never been able to hula hoop in my life. I'm hoping someday when I get leaner I will learn the trick! I am trying to work all of these different exercises into my schedule, hopefully one day I will get there! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
