Well for me it's not really "running" so much as "wogging" ( walking and jogging) lol.
I have severe arthritis in both knees and feet due to a car accident 20 years ago as well as a floating kneecap on the left side so running more,than a minute at a time is out. So maybe you are not gonna be a runner in the classical sense, do,ent mean you shouldn't enter a 5k and enjoy being out there with a group of other people at various levels of ability. There are super fast computers, casual walkers chatting to their friends, moms with strollers or young children and the 80 years old lady who passed me on my first run. Big people, super lean people, very young, very old and everyone in between.
Don't ever think you have to be a certain type to do this. This run will be my 11th in 2 years and I have yet to break the 15 minute mile! I go to be able to keep a promise to myself .
