Don't give up onself you can do it. I know what you mean about sore muscles Now that I have been training for 5K swimming race I have sore muscle and I thought I had all of them in condition. I guess I was wrong

I finally started walking with my husband today. I bought new shoes (I didn't have any athletic shoes) and I was ready to die just around the corner. I continued on and tried to keep up. The dog helped pull me along...lol. I told Jim I am going to run circles around him dang it! Not sure about that but there are muscles aching I forgot existed. It's a start.

MONDAY--- REST

TUESDAY ---WALK AT A BRISK PACE FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES

WENSDAY-- 1 MINUTE SURGES( WARM UP FOR 5 TO 10 MINUTES AT A SLOW WALK PACE AND THEN DO WALK AT A FAST PACE FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES THEN WALK AT A SLOWER PACE FOR 2 MINUTES THEN WALK AT A SLOW PACE FOR 5 TO 10 MINUTES

THURSDAY--WALK AT A BRISK PACE 15 TO 25 MINUTES

FRIDAY--WALK AT A BRISK PACE FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES

SATURDAY-- REST OR CROSS TRAIN

SUNDAY-- WALK AT YOUR FASTEST PACE FOR 40 TO 50 MINUTES.
