Yes Sandi, Ive always had eye problems since 7 y/o wore glasses but yes I do have a stigmatism in my left eye and have become extremely nearsighted I didnt know if it was thyroid related but possibly . Thought maybe aging I get annual checkups and no glaucoma or cataracts -people who try on my glasses get extremely dizzy I have to get the featherlights or thy would be bottlecaps lol although contact lenses do work well for me but Ive gotten to the point with the contacts I have to wear the dollar store magnifiers with them when reading

Thanks or the link. I currently excersize every day. I use the EFX machine because there is no impact on my knees and ankles. I also do planks an sit ups and some arm work with light weights. I find that I am remaining at the same weight and sometimes still gaining weight. While I do not eat perfectly I do eat mostly well on most days. This is so very frustrating for me. It makes me depressed. I hate the way that I look and really try my best.
I currently take 112 levoxyl, vitamin B12 and Omega 3.

Sandy,
Sending good thoughts to you and your daughter for her upcoming appt. The positive thing is at least they will maybe be able to diagnose her early. Let us know how things go.

Thanks, Tami!

If she doesn't make out very well with this doc, I'm sure my endo will be able to fit her in without too long of a wait....I hope!

Thanks for the link!

My 24 yr old daughter went to the eye doctor(optician) last week and he told her she had "bug eyes" - his very words - that were indicative of Graves Disease. She has an appt coming up within the next couple of weeks with a new GP for back pain and will be taking a laundry list of items for thyroid with her. I hope this doctor is a good one!
