I love this Paula. I think I will really enjoy your small group here.

Had to add that it been really good for me (and the planet) to start seriously recycling, planting and but need to start seriously composting.

The past few days I have been under the weather and feeling pretty awful but sitting in the garden has made a big difference. Being outside and feeling the air around me and seeing the plants and trees. I was able to meditate and it made me feel brighter, love is a two way thing give it and you will recieve it so give love to the Earth and She will give love back in many wonderful ways. I saw Butterflies, Damsel Flies and Bees, a Robin, lots of Crows, Blackbirds and Magpies and one rather cheeky Squirrel who ran along the path and up the tree.

Thank you for the reminder to love and appreciate the Earth. I did take the time to do this, very consciously, with my bare feet on the ground in my back yard. It is a wonderful feeling to have renewed appreciation for the Earth we inhabit.

Thank you.

We wete handed this world to take care of. Instead it has been polluted, dirtied, and tromped on. Our animals have been slaughtered inhumanely...we have polluted the air, water and food. Can you imagine a world as it began minus dinosaurs and if we had the conveniences we have now without all the pollution? Wouldn't it be a great place. I know it is a great place anyway. The beauty of the mountains, the grand canyon, the oceans and fields of green. It blows your mind when you really see it for what it is....a miracle. There are people like us, banding together more and more to try and help it. Please don't take it for granted but see all its beauty. Sit in nature and feel its love and hear its plea for love. Take time to see the flowers bloom and the changes from season to season. Soon all the colors of fall will descend on the land . Open your heart and feel the vibes. then send some back to the earth. It needs it.

Today I went to sit in a small park near my house after a session with a client. We have known each other a while now and are friends and it was really lovely to enter the small park and to be greeted by the scent of roses. Everything was green and lush and there were toddlers playing in the sandbox that were part of a daycare. A couple of little ones came to visit and they had such beautiful open faces.
it is so wonderful to see a post about loving the Earth. She is so very beautiful. Thank you for posting some great suggestions.

Thanks Paula. those are all good articles and good ideas. I have a bench right outside the trailer so could very well meditate there. Maybe I can even get hubby to set out for awhile.

Showing Love to the Earth is not as hard as many seem to think we can all do it no matter where we live.
I live in a ground floor flat and lucky enough to have a small garden but I know many who do not have this luxury.
So if you live in an appartment and do not have a garden how can you help to heal the Earth?

Pot plants, grow your own herbs in pots, window boxes, house plants. Yes I know it is not the same as a garden but you can still grow all manner of plants and care for them. You are doing something that is showing your love for the Earth.

You may have a small yard that is mainly concrete and feel well what can I do?
There is always something that you can do, get some small tubs and fill them with plants, herbs and salad crops are great as you can use them.
Flowers will attract butterflies, bees and other insects that we need. Don't forget you can make small insect houses they are so easy to make and you will attract the much needed insects to your yard or garden.

How is this Healing?
Caring for plants no matter how small a place you have is all part of healing the planet we love. If every person did this we would make a difference.
Don't forget your Parks you can still do things there as well, join a group if you have the time to spare and get involved with things.
Can't do that? then try joining in some of the activities they have like going on a guided walk and learn about the park and what it has to offer.

National Parks are wonderful places and you can show your love for them in so many ways.

Meditation is wonderful out in the open, you can sit on the ground or a bench if getting down onto the ground is not possible for you. I can't sit on the ground my hip won't let me do this so I sit on a bench. You can sit there with your eyes closed for a few minutes and Meditate, no one will take any notice as they thing you are simply enjoying the peace and quite and relaxing. Meditate on the Park, garden, plant, tree whatever you want to and send out healing and love to the Earth. You can do this with a window open if you don't have a garden that way you are sending healing thoughts and energy out into the world.

So how about getting out there and connecting with the Earth lets see how many of us can do something like this. Tell us your experience and what you have done we would love to hear about it.
