There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world Breathe in love & compassion.. Breathe out peace & forgiveness. Pacific time
Okay you are probably thinking this is old hat we all recycle. Well do we? Recycling is far more than putting stuff into various bins and being collected to be turned into more stuff. Recycling can be: Taking things to a Charity shop. De- clutter that cupboard and what you don't need give to a charity shop. Do you enjoy crafting? Then recycle things. You can create a wonderful quilt out of old cotton shirts, too big a project? then make placemats. You don't need a sewing machine you can sew by hand and practically everyone can sew using a simple running stitch. You may get some ideas here, www.allfreesewing.com/Sewn-Placemats -a nd-Napkins
There are lots of projects that you can do that will mean using something that would otherwise be thrown out and end up in landfill sites. Old paint tins with left over bits of paint can be used by others.
