Day 1 for me was New Year's Day--My goal is to continue loosing 2-3lbs a week or 10lb a month!! emoticon

Today marks day one of my Spark experience. As a result, I'm filled with an enormous amount of optimism.

My weightloss goal for the month:
30 min of cardio activity 5/6 x a week
3 strengh training session 3/4 x a week
Stay within calorie range (lower end)
Log in every day to track calories

My Feb. goal is to lose 5 pounds.

To do this I will focus on what I'm eating and cutting out the junk food.

My goals for February are to:
- lose 5 pounds
- work out 3 times a week for 30-45 mins each session

I will achieve my goals by:
- making better food choices
- eat no more than 1500 cals daily
- drink water
- sleep 8 hours a night so I have energy to work out in the morning
- quit making excuses

February goals:
Lose 5 pounds
Walk daily..at least 30 minutes, or 2 miles.
Drink water instead of soda/pop/cola/.
Watch calories/fat/sodium intake

Exercies when I can. Dont belong to a gym or anything


Goal is to be 250 by Labor Day.

Make more Spark Recipe's! I'm just finding out how much I'm enjoying (and proud of) making wonderful food myself! In my "past life" it was straight from the freezer to the micro - or the drive through. At least 3 home cooked meals a week is my Feb goal.

Hi all,
My February goals are to lose ten pounds. Work out at least an hour at least six times a week. Stay under fourteen hundred calories a day. Give myself one day to eat freely(within reason).

Hello everybody!
Goals for February-
Stay Focused- because I still get discouraged when the scale doesn't show results even though I know the inches are still coming off.
Continue to do cardio and strength training exercises 20-30 minutes at day for at least 5 days a week.
Loose 8-10 lbs.

Hi everyone. I never did use the "introduce yourself" thread. I started SP a week ago, and did "huddle" every day, and even tracked my food and made a spark page.. please visit :)
My goal for February is to lose 5 pounds.
Other goals:
8+ water every day
25 mins. on treadmill every other day.
Excercises (situps, leg lifts, lifts.. no weights yet) 10 mins. every other day.
Keep tracking food & stay within my guidelines.
Thanks for the FEBRUARY GOALS idea. I need it.

emoticon my Feburary goals are simple. keep walking daily..40-50 daily. and doing side bends . drink plenty of water.(16 cups daily) and keep going. get online whenever I can. keep busy. emoticon

It makes absolute sense. I've been with Spark since July 2007. I didn't do any challenges until December. I was afraid of failing anything that I committed to because I had failed at losing weight so many times.

When you're ready, start with a small goal....like still being here at Spark at the end of February ;) You have the right idea!

For some reason, I'm scared of pushing myself too much, too soon. Does that make any sense?

Right now, I'm making my Feb. goal to just still be here by the end of the month and having just as much enthusiasm over it as I have now.

February goals:

Lose 5 pounds (but will be happy with 4!)
300 crunches every other day
Actually use the treadmill I have downstairs

Achieve goals by:

I'm trying a new strength training program - 20 minutes in the morning, 20 in the afternoon/3 days a week

Continue to eat well

Continue daily cardio

I'm a big believer in short term goals. Posting monthly goals works good for so many - here's a place to do it!

My goals for February:

60 miles -elliptical/treadmill
2000 crunches
drop 4 pounds

How I will achieve my goals:
6 days/week staying at low end of calorie range
30 minutes of cardio, 5 days/week
Strength training 2 days/week
