Not counting at all right now as I have no ability to cook my own food. I'm pretty much eyeballing my portions and stepping on the scale every morning to keep myself on track. Hoping to have our well up and running real soon! (today is day 5 with no water!)

I had a battle with M&M's today. They won.... overwhelmingly! But I picked up and made it into a decent day. Still, I don't even want to think about how much saturated fat and sugar I managed to wolf down!

Well, that's a funny story. I really have been wanting to swim, but there has been a swim meet going on. I keep going to check if the pool is empty, and every time I go, I feel silly just leaving, so I end up on the elliptical. It happened twice yesterday! I found out today that the meet ends tomorrow. :)
I am SO proud of myself today! It could be a model day. Even my sodium was low enough, which I have a lot of trouble with. Plus, I did an hour of intense cardio because.... well, because I was really bored.

My roommate brought home free pizza today. I did some damage control, so it only put me over 25 calories for the day. Plus, I did a crazy amount of cardio. I'd really like to replace some of this fat with protein tomorrow though.

Oooh, McDonalds. I honestly cannot remember the last trip there for me. My daughter got real sick after eating McD's about 5 years ago and we're not even allowed to drive thru if she's in the car! It doesn't really matter anymore - we don't even think of it as an option. I guess she cured us all!

Another day right on track! Calories: 1202 (Range: 1200-1550) Fat: 36 (Range: 32-56) Carbs: 181 (Range: 163-236) Protein: 85 (Range: 60-127)
Got by without eating pizza OR cake last night! Daughter said dance was fun. I was up pretty late waiting for her guests to leave. I had to get up early today for other daughters band contest. We ate out for breakfast and I made terrific choices! The remainder of the day was pretty uneventful. Had a nap instead of a workout. :( Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Great job, Peggy! I hope your daughter has fun at her dance. Good luck against the pizza and cake... although luck doesn't have anything to do with it. :)

Jillian - Thanks for checking in. I hope your plan is working well for you!
Miss Daisy, I think you are contagious! This is my second day in a row of not eating enough. Of course, the night is still relatively young, but I just don't see myself fitting in another 650 calories. I've been so distracted today that I've literally forgotten to eat!

So I have been tracking all my nutrition stats, and as long as I stay to just my Seattle Sutton, I'm always under 1350, so I've not been tracking here. In some ways I'm spoiled to have it all planned out for me, but it's still not easy to stick to only what you're provided!
Keep up the good work Daisy & Angel!

Me again! I hope someone else decides to post again soon. I'm feeling kind of lonely. I haven't eaten enough today, but I'm tired and full, so it's just not going to get done today.
In case anyone is wondering why my calorie range is so high, it's because I had my metabolism tested a week ago, and this is what it told me to aim for. They recommended I not go under 1900 calories without the supervision of a doctor. I have a dr appt in a couple weeks, and I'm going to take the print-out with me and see what he says about it.

Another scary day.... I decided to follow my own advice and not deprive myself... and I ended up at McDonald's for breakfast. Turns out that my advice is hard to follow, because I'm really trying hard not to feel like crap about it. In good news, I barely went over my calorie range, and I fit in some fruits, veggies, and fish.

I haven't been very consistent with tracking my calories recently. I think I need to get back into the habit, at least for a little while. I think I may actually be falling into my old habit of not eating enough. We all know that not getting enough calories each day consistently can throw our bodies into starvation mode thus resulting in our cells wanting to hang onto every calorie available. I sense this is what I've been doing as I've hit a plateau quite hard, and my activity level has been quite steady. I do feel a cold/flu ish thing coming on, so I'll start tracking once I feel better. Just need soup and bedrest for now. :(
Didn't count cals in the evening last night - was up at my parents house and let it get only a little out of control. Hopefully it was just a little and not a big step back. I need to lose at least 8 more pounds before the end of the month!!!

Today: Done eating for the day. Only water for the remainder of the evening!
Didn't make it to the gym after all. I did venture out with my workout bag, but I stopped at the grocery store first and then decided it was way too cold and I just wanted to go home!
A little over in Carbs..but I also worked off 487 calories..so a few extra carbs for some energy..wasn't such a bad thing.

I'm in...I will start post tomorrow with todays results. I am starting fresh this week. I was traveling for work last week and it made it tough, but dh's birthday was last thurs. So starting today I don't see any major challenges in the next couple of weeks so that I can really dedicate myself to this. I am happy to report a loss over the past 2 weeks so I didn't do that bad!!
Here we go!!

Good Numbers JLB! I came in at 703 calories yesterday - not really worth counting in this challenge. Sick day diet! Feeling better today and off to a good start. Looking forward to eating real food tonite!
I'm in and here's yesterday: Calories (1200 - 1550) 1282 Carbs (163 - 236) 147 Fat (32 - 56) 39 Protein (60 - 127) 70
I'm pretty proud of the numbers for Sunday, considering I went out for lunch. Also, I usually have trouble getting enough protein.

I'm ready to revisit this challenge idea that I had before the holidays. We have so many new members now and no holiday hanging over us - let the focus be on our goals! Here's how it will work. You pick from two options:
#1Can you stay within calorie range each day? or #2Can you stay down in the LOW END of your calorie range each day? How many consecutive days can you keep it up? This will take a little work as we will have to track calories. But I have found tracking to be a great tool! Each day, post your calorie range, your total calories consumed, and percentages from fat, protein, and carbs. It would look something like this: Calories: 1232 (Range: 1200-1550) Fat: 32 (Range: 32-56) Carbs: 171 (Range: 163-236) Protein: 75 (Range: 60-127)
