Woke up yesterday feeling really sore and depressed, so I decided to skip my half hour of Pilates in the morning. Once the ibuprofen kicked in, I tried Coach Nicole's Cardio Blast DVD for the first time. It was nice to switch things up. Kept it slow and low resistance for my half hour on the exercise bike, and kept our walk at the beach slow, too. Stuck with my daily push ups goal, and still managed to pay attention to what my body was telling me: SLOW DOWN!

Today I'm taking a rest day and doing lots of stretching

Yesterday I hauled and stacked 2 trailers full of limbs from the trees DH has cut out on the back of our acreage, Just as I finished, our neighbor came with a pickup load of oak and maple leaves (which we use for mulch) and I helped him load and dump 4 more pickup loads.
