When I take the pup out to the front yard to do her business, I stretch my legs while she has her snuffle around the grass. When I brush my teeth with my Sonicare at night, I lie down on my foam roller to get a heart-opening stretch in. When I lie down for our twenty minute meditation each night, I arrange my legs and pelvis for a deep hip stretch. I try to take a deep, slow breath, improve my posture, and lower my shoulders every time I remember to throughout the day. I am determined to get more stretching, yoga, massage, and stress relief into my life, and these are some of the ways I sneak them in.
Seems like I'm always standing in front of the stove waiting for water to boil or onions to soften, and sometimes I do squats to pass the time, but I hadn't thought of making use of bathroom breaks this way. It's the perfect place for wall or counter pushups!

Kitty, as in your fashion - when I am at work, I am constantlygoing from sitting to getting up to press, back down to sew, up again and over to the cutting table, etc. So when I sit in my chair, I don't sit all the way down, then get back up and then sit, all these squats add up! Of course my customers think I have lost my mind, and can't decide what it is I am doing!

Thought I would share this. For the last 6 or 7 months every time I use the restroom I crank out a quick set of ST exercises. I alternate between squats and wall push-ups. I'm up to 100 every day! So even is I don't get any other ST in, I got something done.
