I temporarily gave myself permission to give up last week. My knees hurt so bad and needed a time of rest to heal and my depression was bad too and I needed to focus on what to do differently. BUT I'M BACK!

PEEL (Pray, Eat, Exercise, Love, Lose Weight), The Daily Challenge!

PEEL, (Pray, Eat, Exercise, Love - Ourselves, Lose Weight) The Daily Challenge is a way we are going to use the mighty powers of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to help us live a healthy lifestyle and to lose weight if we wish to. This is what sets our challenge apart from most other challenges. We are relying on the Trinity to help us, support us, guide us, and enable us to be successful! I know we will be! We will be competing with ourselves, not with each other!

Here are the guidelines/basics:

1. You will have 4 goals that will receive points for each goal.

2. You may choose your own goal from every category.

3. The categories are Nutrition, Exercise, Spiritual, and Personal.

4. Every category is assigned 10 points per day.
Therefore Nutrition 10 points, Exercise 10 points, Spiritual 10 points, Personal 10 points.

5.Personal - the goal is of your choice.

6. Nutrition - can be A. How many F/V did I eat
today?
B. How many glasses of water
did I drink today?
C. Did I stay within my
calorie range ( )?
D. Did I take enough calcium
today?
E. and so on!

7. Exercise includes any physical exercise such as walking, biking, gardening, yoga, palates, any program on DVD, video, TV, etc. for @ least 10 minutes!

8. Spiritual includes praying, Bible study, reading the Bible, Worship, Communion, Meditation - you fill in what you do. This is the most important goal! Always start and end your day with prayer, even if it is a short one, praising and thanking God for all the abundance in your life today, asking for any help that you need, guidance, support, and that you are blessed to be a blessing to others (even if you don't feel like it!).

9. Personal goal - you choose what you want to accomplish this month (3 weeks)! such as take Bible study class, clean house weekly, walk daily, drink 8 glasses water daily, do affirmations daily, and so on.

10. BONUS - if you post 4 out of 7 days each week, you get 50 bonus points.

Add them up on the ending Tuesday of each week and then start all over again for the next week!
