I'm really not feeling all that great on phase 3 days, both yesterday and today. I'm enjoying the food choices, but lacking energy and mental clarity. Also having lady issues, so it could be that...probably is that, now that I think of it. Still, somewhat disappointing to have felt some actual reduction in belly size on those first 4 days, only to have it come back on phase 3. I'm still totally optimistic, don't get me wrong, just figured if there's a place to mention it - this would be the place. Hope everyone's having a great fast week!!

8 pounds is fantastic for the month - way to go!!!

I really like this plan. It's time to eat something AGAIN (I'm surprised every time, hahahaha).

Round 1 - Week 4 - Phase 3!

I made it to the end of the 28 days! Well almost. But Phase 3 is a piece of cake compared to Phase 2 which I just came out of and lost another 2 lbs!

Here is what I have found for my body through this first Round. Week 1 I lost the most of course. But since that time, I have maintained on Ph1, Lost on Ph2 and sometimes gained on Ph3. A net loss of 8lbs for the month! I'll take it! I think I need to hold back on the starch with Ph3 and would probably maintain.

Yes YKNOT08..... I do love my salads on Ph3 because I can have a decent salad dressing!

Round one, week one, phase 3 tomorrow - can't wait to have olive oil on my salad! Oh, and I should go make some hard boiled pastured eggs! Woohoo! I learned about a month ago how to make them in the pressure cooker instead of boiling them, and they turn out really easy to peel and only take 6 minutes. I need to buy avocados. Giving up dairy hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be.

Round 1 - Week 2 - Phase 3

Phase 3 is Heaven! I feel like I'm on vacation. But my scale is stuck too. So will really focus on the right foods for each phase and up the veggies. I was quite overwhelmed my first week, but feel more prepared now. I am thinking each week will get easier and less time consuming.

1st week - Phase III starts tomorrow.... Jumping for joy! I have a big crockpot full of chili and a small one with oatmeal. Then I see we only get 1/2 cup. It should keep for Phase I next week.

Hanging in there.

My hubby is on this diet with me now... and for some reason, I ate more on Phase 3 this time than I did last time... I'm sure it's his fault. LOL!

Week 4 Days 1,2,3

Final 3 days of my first FMD cycle! :)

I didn't eat my veggie this morning. I had oatmeal with blueberries and a boiled egg. I could not decide which veggie to eat, so just brought some celery with me to work. snack will be almonds and avocado and the celery, lunch is apple, tuna and a mix of spring mix, spinach and baby kale. Dinner... don't know yet, probably a chicken something.

My last 2 days were pretty much on target.

Week 2 Days 1, 2 and 3

Had oatmeal with berries and nuts forgot the veggie on day 1. Found some paleo recipes on pinterest that work for this phase using chicken thighs. Was really good!

Week 3 Days 1,2,3

1) My daughter got up this morning saying woohoo! only 10 days left of this diet. She has been a trooper. :) breakfast for phase 3 is excessive to me. grain + fruit + protein + veggie = a lot of food. I didn't get my veggie in this morning. :/ so, I will have veggies with my mid morning snack.

2) Well, hubs and I took my daughter and a friend to see Divergent last night. (Great movie!!) We stopped at walmart and let the girls pick up a couple boxes of movie candy ... yep, my daughter chose to cheat. And at the movies they also got popcorn and Dr. Peppers. Hubby got popcorn and diet coke. I got nothing. I didn't feel deprived either because of the quote I remembered: ... I will not feel deprived when I bypass junk food, I will feel empowered that I made the healthy choice... and I did! I was rewarded by being another half pound down this morning!

3) ugh... up that half pound again this morning. but I'm following the diet and hanging in there. One week left.

Week 2 Phase 3 Days 1, 2, 3

1) I look forward to this phase now... enjoyed oatmeal and blueberries this morning along with an egg scrambled with mushrooms and green peppers in a tsp. of coconut oil. Lunch: chicken and mixed greens, Dinner: rosemary pork w/ sweet potatoes (first time trying this recipe) snacks: 1/2 avocado each.

2) Day started off perfect, then we went to town and out to eat. Total mess up. They had nothing I expected them to have. ... so I ended up eating as close to plan as possible, but lots of stuff was on the "no" list. :(

3) Oatmeal and peaches for breakfast, but it was late, didn't have lunch, because supper was cooking and I jsut wasn't really hungry, did have a snack a bit later, then dinner was seafood gumbo, full of phase appropriate ingredients! It was so good on the brown and wild rice. Since dinner was kinda early, I had a snack later, forgetting that strawberries aren't on the phase 3 list... I ate a few. Why aren't they on this list? Oh well. Might go have a little more gumbo.

Starting Day 5 tomorrow and looking forward to it. Days 3 and 4 are tough but I did it....now onto the yummy stuff! Haven't weighed in yet. Waiting for Sunday to do that but my pants aren't uncomfortably snug anymore...just snug emoticon

Ok today is first day of P3 ...what happened!!! I feel super quezy after eating breakfast this morning. Is this normal to expect after leaving my meat and veggies from P2? Went up a lb this morning, but that is fine...maybe I didnt have enough water emoticon Got the overall Blahs today...hopefully the rest of the day and phase will get better. emoticon
