I can be a slow loser but I am happy to report that after 6 weeks of 5-2 fasting, I am down to 140 pounds. My goal weight is 135, I have never made it below 138 but I think I can do it with 5-2. This is the best nutrition plan I have ever tried and I have tried them all.

I lost 9 pounds, and after 6 months of a plateau, I started this diet. 3 weeks in, no change...and all in the last 2 weeks, I have lost 4 lbs!!! So excited!!

9/05/13 - 151.3 lbs.- .7 lb. lost, not bad after the holiday weekend
9/10/13 - 149.6 - 1.7 lbs loss
9/17/13 - 150.2- .6 lb gain
10/01/13 - 149.6 .6 lb loss

Staying pretty steady but i have not been working out these past 2 weeks, time to get motivated to lose these last few pounds!!

Hello, Everyone!

This may seem like a silly question, but today will be my 2nd fast day this week and I'm just curious when most people choose to weigh themselves in order to monitor their weight loss progress? I realize weight fluctuations are possible on a daily basis, especially after a fast day, so when is the best day to weigh-in?

Dang- I could I have sworn I started posting here last week but it's not here (or on another thread, either)!

Backtracking a bit to say I have weighed 185 since last June, despite my best efforts- lots of exercise and a negative calorie differential 9 days out of 10.
My wt may have bobbled down 1-2-3 lbs but always back to 185.

4/1 185 started intermittent fasting on my own

4/11 started using the 5:2 approach and joined the team

5/26 181 (Sadly, back up 3 lbs - 3 days of fasting but WAY too much wine this week)

I am really disappointed. I have been on a plateau now for 9 weeks. I have stayed the same weight and it won't budge. Has anyone else gone through that? Is it normal with this fasting? Just really bumed that my clothes aren't getting any looser, measurements are staying same. Just wondering what I can do to get off the plateau.

Well, although I don't want to post my weight (loss or gain), I will say that I am still down!!! I should have fasted today, but too many circumstances prevented that, so I will fast tomorrow - that means Monday and Friday for this week. I feel very uplifted - and WAY happy I found this group!
