100g raw of chicken, fish or steak; plus 2 cups of cabbage microwaved with fennel seeds, or of broccoli, silverbeet, or lettuce, seasoned with herbs, and an apple and an orange = under 500 calories and gives you 5 freggies and enough protein for satiety, plus a bit of variety.
I cook my chicken pieces in lemon juice and thyme or oregano, and freeze portions to heat up in the microwave at lunch or dinner time.
When I cook steak, I cut up and weigh the 100g pieces before I cook, and do several pieces together, perhaps spread with garlic or mustard, eat one, pop the rest in the freezer in individual packs; one little cooking session gives me three or four fasting sized meals.
