The new challenge, we will try this for a couple weeks and see how it goes. The goal is to try to get a strike everyday, and then by Sunday you would have a perfect score. There are lots of ways to get a strike. Hope you like it and let me know what you think:
Pin 1. Meeting your water intake for the day. (8 glasses)
*Pin 2. Commenting on a team member's blog daily (post who)
*Pin 3. Staying in your calorie range for the day.
*Pin 4. Getting in your exercise in for the day. x
*Pin 5. Sending a team goodie to one team member a day. (post who)
Pin 6. Share a motivational article with the team daily.
Pin 7. Getting 5000 steps a day or if you don't have a pedometer, 20 minutes of walking (in addition to the other exercise planned for the day). x
*Pin 8. Getting 6 to 8 hours of sleep x
*Pin 9. Getting in your 5 fruits and vegetables for the day.
*Pin 10. Spending 10 min. just on you!! X
STRIKE- To get a Strike, you will have to knock down all 10 pins=20pts
SPARE- To get a Spare, if you DON'T knock down all 10 pins, then you have a chance to get a Spare. = 15pts
Knock 9 Pins + Add 20 min walk to get a Spare
Knock 8 Pins + Add 20 min walk + 10 modified push ups = Spare
*Knock 7 Pins + Add 20 min walk + 10 modified push ups + 10 squats = Spare
Knock 6 Pins + Add 20 min walk + 10 modified push ups + 10 squats + 10 Calf Raises = Spare
Knock 5 Pins + Add 20 min walk + 10 modified push ups + 10 squats + 10 Calf Raises + 10 modified crunches of your choice = Spare
If you "knock down" between 1 and 9 pins, you get that number of points (unless you earn the spare) 1-9 pts
A spare is 10.
A strike is also 10...but just like in normal bowling your points for the day would include the next days as well. So for example if you got a strike today, tomorrow a 5, and Wednesday a 4, your points would be 19 today, 24 tomorrow, and 28 Wednesday.
Now you don't have to keep track of the points if you don't want to, you can just post your score for the day and on Sunday I can tally them up. I will send a spark goodie to the top three scores. Have fun!!!!
