Sounds like a great way to start the day, STUDLEEJOE. I have never tried turkey sausage but I might for lunch.

At the end of the day, be able to look back and say "I did my best today."

Ginny, you will love it. I have to get the unsweetened Vanilla brand because of the all the sugar. But it really does not taste that bad. To me at least. Some people like it and some don't. To me, you don't even have to add any sweetener to it. The Vanilla or Chocolate gives it flavor. Let us know how you like it.

My favorite breakfast is Fiber One Nutty Clusters and Almond cereal with 1 cup of almond milk and 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries. The berries make it really cold. It makes me feel like I'm eating ice cream! I also add I egg (poached or boiled) for protein. emoticon

My favorite breakfast is 1/2 cup rolled oats in 1 cup fat free milk add cinnamon and either vanilla or almond extract to it and 1 packet of sweetner, let sit awhile and then eat. Sometimes I add blueberries or 1/2 banana.

It holds me up for lunch time just like eggs would too.

My breakfast usually consist of a Snickers Marathon Protein Bar because it has lots of protein but also 10 grams of fiber. I also eat some type of fruit. I always have water but sometimes add almond milk. I didn't have any of that today because I have not been able to go to the store with my foot being so sore. Today I had to go to the doctor about my foot and my depression so I went to Burger King and had the Ultimate breakfast platter. It was Sausage patty, egg, potato crowns, pancakes, and biscuit with syrup for the pancakes and butter and strawberry jelly for the biscuit.

I wish I could eat those. But have a yeast allergy and I try to stay away from all breads. I use tortilla wraps for my bread and don't think that would work. But love the memories.

I remember those sandwiches too. We called them eggs in the hole. I have eggs for lunch sometimes but my protein choice for breakfast 99.9% of the time is peanut butter. I really like peanut butter, toast and an orange every morning.

We called them Egg in a Frame. We made that when I was High School, many years ago. That brings back memories. Sounds good and was good to eat.

Calorie cutter breakfast : )

2 slices of toasted bread or sandwich buns( I use Arnolds because they're only 100 calories!
take a shot glass or whatever size you'd like to use. Press down into the center of the bread and cut out the hole.
Now place in a preheated frying pan(I'd Pam it or use butter margarine) crack open the egg into the opening and cook to your liking. Add a glass of OJ and some Java and your good to go only with less calories.
Not my idea. I read this somewhere and thought I'd share it. Smart idea. This could work with burghers too. I'd just freeze them before grilling.
Enjoy the most important meal of the day!! emoticon

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because we are literally “breaking the fast” from the night before. To get the most bang for your buck, try adding some protein to the meal.

Breakfast Burritos

Breakfast burritos made with eggs, sausage, and cheese are a good way to include protein in your family breakfast to keep you feeling full longer and to help you eat less the rest of the day. For a fast breakfast burrito recipe, scramble eggs and low-fat cheese, then add salsa and pre-cooked turkey sausage. Zap a whole-wheat tortilla in the microwave, and fill it with the egg mixture and toppings. You can even make this breakfast recipe ahead of time and warm the burritos to grab on the way out the door.

I have learned the hard way that skipping breakfast is a bad idea. So, I make sure I don't go without something for breakfast. I am going to make some Jam-filled Almond Muffin recipe that I got off of this website e-mail that I got. Can't wait for tomorrow's breakfast. emoticon
