It's been a while since I have been on Spark. i think that I am part of too many logging sites, so I am cutting back in hopes that I will be more consistent with my logging and be able to keep up with m challenges. I have not gained weight and feeling pretty good about it, however I am stuck at my current weight. Clean bill of health from the doc, so it is something that I am not doing correctly. I am also keeping a written journal so that I can log wherever I am, I found that this type of logging is much easier, as I can record how I feel at the same time. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing how everyone is doing. Happy Summer

Hello mamachae74 - so many of us have the same or similar problem.....are you tracking "all" your food? If so are you sure the amount of daily calories you are eating is the right amount for you to lose? How many carbs are you eating per day? Seeing your md is often a good idea to make sure there is no physical problem

HI, I am new to the challenge. I have the hardest time keeping weight off and keep losing the same 10 pounds. I am not covinced that it is my diet and I exercise daily...literally daily for a minimum of 30 minutes. On the weekends I am able to do longer workouts. I have been incorporating weights with cardio and switch it up from time to time. I think it is really odd that I will be down 8-10 pounds and then it comes right back within 4 or 5 days. I assumed it was water weight but I'm not sure. I'm not discouraged, I just wonder if others are experiencing the same things? I thought about going to the doc to get a complete workup to see if there is something up with my thyroid, heart or other organs. Anyone else have these issues?

BROWNSUGAR, good luck with the new job.

My scale is not moving and I feel fat. It was such a bad week at work and in response I ate too many carbs. Today I will turn it around....lots of walking.

Have not checked in like I said I would. Sorry!
I just started a new housekeeping job today and am currently at 221 lbs.
I think this job will help me lose weight. I am on my feet constantly moving for 5 1/2 hours. :)

I exercise at the doctor's and I get weighed before I exercise. On Tuesday their scale said 199 and Thursday it said 197 so 2 lbs in 2 days. I exercised for 1 hour the last 4 days. I am also tracking my food. The food is not going as well as the fitness.

According to Weight Watcher's I lost 7 pounds this week. I weighed 297.4 pounds. I was stoked!! What a victorious week.

Not giving up. Not going to say how much gained, just gained. emoticon Need to double check what I am doing or no doing that I should. I did up my times with my cardio exercise.

I will commit to losing 1 pound per week. I'd like to do two, but for now I will commit to just one. Thanks for the challenge. I weigh in at Weight Watcher's on Wednesday's so I will use their figures instead of my scale's figures.

I will try to give this challenge a try. I am not big on my scale being correctly and it makes me depressed at times because of not moving or going up and not down. Trying is better than anything and I will take the plunge.

The realization of having to lose 20, 30, 50 pounds or more can be overwhelming for many of us. emoticon

Breaking those pounds down to one at a time.....now that sounds attainable emoticon

This team challenge puts our focus on dropping our weight 1 pound at a time TOGETHER...creating a buddy system emoticon by sharing with each other what works and what does not work and supporting each other day to day.

All you need to do is set your goal and make a commitment here to lose 1 pound a week, 1 pound every two weeks or 1 pound a month. The choice is yours. And it starts right now!! emoticon

Every Wednesday will be our official weigh in day right here where you can post your weight loss (if you choose).
