I'm doing well, LaKeisha! How is school going? I'm in a WATP challenge and have kept up every day so far. It's really keeping me on track. I'm also in a bootcamp challenge which is keeping me on track with water and fruits and veggies. It's a big help in forcing me to be intentional. How about you?

I'm alive and kicking Pauline! How have you been? I'm trying to think of some ways to contact people on our team so that we can be up and running again. I would love for us to be active on our one year anniversaries!

I am confident that the path I journey on today leads me in the best direction for my soul's progress. I do not worry about tomorrow. I choose to focus on today's journey.

Hi everyone! I just thought I'd check the boards to see how everyone was doing. Thank you Pauline for continuing to keep us motivated. I started my new America on the Move challenge on the 8th and I've already logged over 67,000 steps! How is everyone else doing with their challenges?

I am confident that the path I journey on today leads me in the best direction for my soul's progress. I do not worry about tomorrow. I choose to focus on today's journey.

Thanks once again for your support Pauline. I've actually recruited my husband and one of my best friends, and they are going to run the race with me in March/April, whenever I can find one here.

Thanks again emoticon

I just finished my first week in the 3 month training schedule for the 5K, and I am going to find a race for the end of March:) I never thought I would even consider running a race. I still have the old mental image of myself in my head ... the one with sore knees, and out of breath.

That's a great training goal! Be sure to check out 5K races offered in your area around the end of your training time. You'll be able to run in a real race!! That's something to shoot for!!

I found an article on how to train to "Run a 5K in 3 months," so I've decided to give it a try. I've never been a runner, so I'm hoping trying something new like this will keep me motivated. We have a treadmill, and I just finished the day one (walk half mile, run half mile, walk another half mile)of the training schedule. emoticon

My Challenge is to increase my exercise, which means walking on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and swimming with my mum on Monday's and Saturdays. The walking is with my dog, who I noticed over the holiday season has actually turned into a barrel, so he too needs a bit of help. I felt terribly guilty, so I have to walk now, so as to help him ;o) Sometimes it is just easier to do it for someone else!

I am attempting (!) a challenge in the Firm Believers forum. Since I have never made it through an entire Firm workout, it will be interesting to see if I can last through this challenge. It starts up next week.

To start off 2008 on the right foot, I encourage each teammate to join a challenge on one of your SparkTeams. I think it would be nice if we each posted what challenge we're participating in and checked in here every once in a while.
