Well I did great up until yesterday (Day 7). I ate way over my upper limit and late at night. But it is only one day and I can get back on track today.

Day #7 -- stayed well within my calorie range again today.

Was feeling a little dizzy yesterday while golfing and again today out working in the yard -- checked my BP and it was 90/65 !! That is extremely low for me, will have to watch it and see about cutting back on the medication a bit.

Range: 1,200 - 1,550

May 7 = 895 so far and looks to be doable as long - as I go to bed at 9pm ;)
May 6 = 1,259
May 5 = 1,266
May 4 = 1,246
May 3 = 1,236
May 2 = 1,319
May 1 = 1,300

Now if I can figure out how to get enough potassium without eating a bushel of spinach everyday. All I can think of is supplements. I also can't seem to figure out how to eat out without going over the recommended salt intake.

I have been close all week, 1554 out of 1570 for a top number yesterday. I am having a problem with food....I see it and I want to eat it. So Not Me! Normally I can go all day on coffee with cream and sugar a salad for lunch a snack bag of chips for supper and a Dr. Pepper. You could offer me a steak, baked potato with butter and sour cream, green beans, a dinner roll and a piece of banana cream pie for free and I'd just thank you for the offer with a No Thanks and walk away. Not lately. So I have really been watching what I put in my mouth.

I Blew it today! Man a live I did not know that one slice of Pizza had so many calories and I ate two. That is what happens when one isn't paying attention or staying in the moment. emoticon

If I don't go to bed soon I may just go over my goal, ugh. I am sleepy, yet I am hungry. I give up. I am going to have some string cheese and My Niacin and a I hope agood nights sleep. I did a lot of traveling today for a good cause, 2 miles of walking at the zoo for MS and then Shopping with my sister and brother-in-law in Okc. Have a good night folks!! emoticon

So far i'm afraid I'm not setting a very good example -- I've been over by about 100 calories for day #1 and #2 (my range is 1200-1550). So the next 5 days I will have to be a bit more disciplined!

5\1 went over calories 1600+ a drug rep brought in Chinese, I paid for it though because I am very sensitive to MSG and preservatives, ended up with a splitting headache. I have to ask myself, Was it worth it. NOOOOOOOOOO

5\2 not up to 1200 yet but I am stuffed so will probably not make it

Tomorrow we are having a potluck at work, will probably go over again, will report then.

With Christ I can do anything!

A bit low today so I had a skinny cow bar. Don't you hate when that happens?

emoticon

TIP: the way I stay in range is planning ahead. Every week I sit down, plan my menus (and my grocery) list for the week.

If its a new recipe, I may have to redo the menu for the day slightly to stay in bounds but with tried and true recipes, it usually works out just fine.

If I'm going out, I use SP restaurant guide to prepare and eat lighter at breakfast and lunch. And increase my exercise

I stayed within my range of 1590-1940 at 1827 on May 1. This is the first time I have done this in quite awhile. Thanks for doing this challenge.

well, 1 of 5 logged in within calorie range. Blew most of my calories in some less than ideal choices at noon time (oh, that vodka martini tasted good and cold) but went to bed feeling satisfied without any additional mis-steps. Today's another day of eating out, so I need to manage my calories again.

Calorie range 1320-1570, 1358 so far today. Surprisingly!

I have been tracking my food, water and exercise since I started again in January. Now keeping within my food range is a totally different matter. So far today I am still in the range. I just need to not eat anymore tonight. Thanks for these challenges.

ok. I can do this most days. I just recently started tracking my food. It just seemed so time consuming. But I'm going to try harder to get it done daily.

Your asking alot! LOL I use to eat less than the minimum suggested by my nutrition tracker and lately I seem to be going over the top most days and I am still starving! Need to figure out what I am hungry for and that should stop that. emoticon
