I gave myself a seedling. Note with it: Not only do I need to get out and plant some flowers, I need to tend my goals like you would a seedling.

I chose a pair of tennis shoes. This symbolizes that I still have a walk ahead of me. I love my tennis shoes. The message I put with the goodie is... Note to self...keep going...if you stop now you will never get there.
Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (NIV) Mark 11:24
I only take one day at a time, and not worry about the past. Right now is what is important.

I chose a pedometer to symbolize my fitbit. It has really helped to open my eyes to my inactivity some days.

I gave myself a pedometer to remind myself that I'm now wearing a fitbit and I'm trying to get up to 10000 steps per day.
Also, I agree with RISAMEANSLAUGH that this is an awesome thread. Thank you for this great month of challenges, Sandy. I am really enjoying these challenges because I was able to do them all so far and it has felt great to be successful at something because right now I'm not successful at losing more weight.
I will keep on trying but these challenges are motivating and all the positive posts are very encouraging.
Keep on rising to meet the challenges, everyone.

In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose "If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. Give yourself a Spark Goodie that represents something that you are using as you work toward a healthier lifestyle (a jumprope? a pedometer? bananas?); tell us what you gave yourself.)
Still haven't found your Spark Page? Go to the Community tab in the above bar and then click on SparkPages. There should be a button to click in the upper right corner that will help you create your own page, or to view your Spark Page. Click on "edit my Spark Page" and be sure the box for "turn my page offline" is NOT checked -- this is found in "more options" in the upper right corner. The other boxes can be checked or not, according to your personal preference. There are various other ways to customize your page -- scroll down and you will find areas for entering information about yourself that will let other members get to know you a bit better. When you're done, be sure to click on the "Save Your Changes" button! You can always go back again and make more changes.
Now scroll down to near the bottom of your page and click on "Give *** a Spark Goodie" (*** stands for your own user name). You'll see a box that says how many SparkPoints you have to spend. Click on the various tabs -- fitness, food, home & electronics, etc -- and select a goodie that you have enough points for. Type a brief message to yourself and then click on "send goodie." You can use this same process on another member's Spark Page to send them a goodie!
