For me -- it's to finally "get around to" strength training with resistance bands, I seriously need to work on that upper-arm flab!

I have to make sure I get a breakfast. I seem to skip the most important meal of the day.
Also I can never get up to 1200 calories a day. I am always full!!

With Christ I can do anything!

I am doing somewhat better with water intake But starting today and for the next six days I will drink the 8 glasses of water. Hopefully that will start my streak of getting water every day.


At the end of the day, be able to look back and say "I did my best today."

Today is my 5th day of walking 2.2 miles. It was a hard time for me. My legs hurt, but I kept on pushing myself. Tomorrow I will spend some time starching before i go for the walk. My goal is to continue to emoticon walk 2.2 at lease 5x a week.

This will be a challenging week. I am in Miami where my daughter is having surgery. Starting today, and all week, I will spend all day keeping her company in the hospital, so my goals are each day I will
1) pack my food so I will eat healthy.
2) get outside to walk once during the day and again when I get back to her house in the evening.

It helps that everyone says I am looking great.

Fruits and veggies are my downfall. I never get enough. So bought strawberries and apples, carrots, sugar snap peas, red pepper, broccoli to get me through the week.

I really need to stop snacking at night and between meals. I especially need to avoid candy. Sugar is my downfall but DH keeps bringing home good stuff full of sugar. Can't seem to change him..he can eat anything and not gain weight.. so have to develope more willpower! Gained three pounds in just a few days. emoticon emoticon

Since I spent most of each day out of town at a two day Spiritual Assembly entitled, "Safeguard Your Mind', I have some catching up to do here and in my yard, This is Spring Clean up week in my town. I will be cleaning up the yard around the raindrops, bagging leaves etc, I am also starting new Meds for my recently diagnosed COPD, thanks to having untreated asthma. Depressed about the diagnosis, Nope. Grateful to find out what the problem is and to get something done. emoticon
