Today is only half over but already I have had many things that brought a smile to my face.
I woke up in time to see a gorgeous sunrise and the sun was so bright for the next few hours - it later started to rain a bit, but we do need April showers to bring May flowers. : )

Then I went out to ladies Bible study and had a great time getting to know a lady who was there for the first visit. I do believe I have met a new friend.

When I got home I had a nice lunch with my husband and son before they went out.

Now I'm sitting here talking on the phone to a good friend and doing some posting. emoticon

There is much to bring a smile to a persons face each day.


At the end of the day, be able to look back and say "I did my best today."

Since I am posting late I will list the 2 items here.
1. Spent time with DH watching who dunnits. We love those.
2. It was a sunny day and we accomplished a lot. That always makes me smile. Progress!

I posted for the first time on my blog about what made me smile. I even posted a picture of my dog jumping off of the dock into the pond, one of her favorite ways to retrieve a ball. She makes me smile a lot.

I don't blog, but things that made me smile are:
I created a new recipe for coleslaw: low cal mayo and for the sweetener I put in a squirt of orange mio. tasted great. Also walked 3 miles on the treadmill. My jeans are loose and I feel good.

With Christ I can do anything!

Well, i blogged before i read this, but my happy things were sleeping for 12 hours to catch up from a rough day yesterday,
working out on my elliptical, raking up pine cones outside in the nice spring weather, eating healthy, weight lifting workout...

Two things that make me smile are:
1) Living, Loving and Laughing.
2) Little kids enjoy the simplest things in life. Last night, I watched a four year getting a
McDonald's soft serve. He held it...waiting patiently...while his father filled their drinks.
Usually, I just gobble a soft serve down. Today, I ate it with intention. And, I ate dessert before dinner for the pure joy of it.

Two things that made me smile today--
I completed another level!!! Even though I have stopped and started my way through this program, I feel like this time, with support from my doc and personal trainer I can really make this happen. Slowly, my health is improving and I just plain feel better.
Just walking with my husband through the mall. We usually stay away because we manage to run into his students or mine, but yesterday we shared smiles with the kids, held hands and just walked. Maybe it is my attitude that is changing.

This night the temperature did not get under zero degrees celcius. I think the time has come to buy some flowers which can take a little cold air and force the spring into my garden. That already makes me smile emoticon
And the gardenwork will also burn energy and give me some D vitamines.
