3/2 - mall walking with a friend -- 20 minutes
3/3 - put off exercising until "later," then got an unexpected, last-minute dinner invitation and never did get to it. There should really be no excuse for not doing at least 10 minutes of exercise a day!

Okay so I am in. I didn't read this until today the 3rd, but for the past few days I have gotten my exercise in. 35 minutes Friday and 50 yesterday. I made a Lenten challenge which includes exercising for at least 10 minutes a day. I haven't been as faithful with it as i should be so now is a good time for me to get back on track. I read the arcitle and got my 3 points. WooHoo!! I am doing housecleaning today for my exercise but i may try for 10 minutes on the treadmill too. I'll let you know.

3/1: Today was somewhat of a "freebie" for me -- Friday is my night for bowling league; we have 4 people on a team and it takes about 2-1/2 hours to bowl our 3 games, so I credit myself with 30 minutes of activity.

During the month of March I'm planning to try to regroup and re-focus on my goals -- my progress has been at a standstill since December and it's time to get back to doing the things I know I need to do. Although I normally am fairly active, structured exercise is for some reason very difficult for me to stick with, so I'm hoping this challenge will help to keep me motivated to do so.

Everyone is encouraged to join me in this challenge, and to post daily status updates in this thread -- particularly those of you who, like me, would much rather be kicking back on the couch or in their recliner than hopping on a treadmill or bike! It's only 10 minutes a day -- although of course more is encouraged -- so let's get physical and support each other in the process!
