Well, I've been on bp medicine for over a year. Been trying to lose weight with weight watchers and it was slow going. quit and then found the weight again. Then I found spark people! I put in all the food for a normal day on ww program and saw that the sodium was over 4000 mg per day. No wonder it wasn't going down. My bp was running between 130+ to 140 over 80's and 90's. So I've been on spark people for going on 4 weeks now, lost 14.2 lbs and cut my sodium down to below 800, usually averaging in the 400's and 500's each day, and have been working out 5 days per week. Last night I took my bp and it was 122/80. That's the lowest I've had it in a long time.
This truly proves to me that using spark people, watching my sodium, losing weight and exercising WILL get this bp down!!
