I have gotten three creative rulers and I love them. So easy to read and they don't move . I have trouble when I cut because they slip, no more. Yippee

I got a sturdy extra wide ironing board from Walmart last year and it was worth every penny. I had been using a wobbly one that I might have had in college or at least 30 years and I thought, this is ridiculous. So out it went and a new board came in. I also recently bought a new iron from Amazon. It is one with no holes in the faceplate so there is no pulling on fabrics and no steam. I love it. And it stays nice and hot. I now have 4 irons. Don't tell my husband. Carol

A major thing I have to have is my laser color printer. With it I can easily print off colored photos and directions and print on the front and back at the same time. Spits out a lot of patterns but the ink is expensive. I use it in my business and it crosses over to quilt patterns. Carol

I just ordered a ruler/guide for the sewing machine to help you make 1/2 square triangles and flying geese without the marking and sewing and cutting! Name is Clearly Perfect Angles. The cottonpatchquiltshop.com is having a stuff your basket sale and I saw these used on Carol's (4 Dog Night) favorite site (well one of them anyway) Bee in my Bonnet. Can't wait to pick it up next week.

Today I went to a local quilt shop to save money (30%) on my purchase. She gives that discount for your birthday month, half your age or 30%. So I looked around and found lots of things I had to have! Isn't that wonderful, more fabric and thread! Had a good time though and now it is time for a nap. Carol

Sue I use a wooden kabob skewer also; I have 2 different lenghts. Now for what I think I have to have? I do need some more size 12 needles, and a blade for my 45" cutter, and I would love a new pattern book and another box of binder clips or hair clips to hold my bindings in place.

Okay. So you got me. Today I ordered a binding ruler and a binding tool from Annie's. I constantly forget how to do the finishing of the binding, and have to search all over the place for information. If that is the most I forget, I figure I am ahead of the game.

I went to JoAnn's today to take advantage of the senior discount. While roaming around in notions, I found a bamboo stiletto. I've seen them used on the Craftsy videos, but have never had one, so I decided to pick one up. It wasn't on my "must have" list, but it may get on my "sure glad I've got it" list.

My sister gave me a seam stick for Christmas. It sure saves on the thumb nails!

I need to get some fabric glue and also find an acrylic template that is 5.5 inches square so I can make my own charms.
