I worked out super hard yesterday, and I feel great-well, sort of. I pushed myself and I can feel the extra 10 pounds I did on the chest press and the 40lbs. on the ab machine. I'm stiff and my legs are a bit jiggly, but I'm so proud of myself. My husband and I went to a convenient store this morning to grab a breakfast burrito, and as I reached for it, my shoulder felt stiff, and it reminded me that I had oatmeal and fruit at my desk, and that I didn't need the 500 calories wrapped in that tortilla. We both left the store with only diet sodas and big smiles.
