I am a lapbander. As I got more restriction and had to eat less, it became harder to get all my nutrition in my diet..... Protein, veggies, fruit & fiber. I feel boxed in. By the time I eat the protein part of my meal first, then I only feel like eating a little bit of my veggies. So I end up supplementing with protein powder, veggie powder/drink and fiber gummies. I am a farm girl and want to eat real food!
What are some of your strategies to get a balanced meal? Is supplementation a fact of life now?
