I think the coconut version is probably the better of the two versions: traditional vs. coconut. I'm sure it is healthier. Coconut based foods are good for you. As far as the coconut sugar--I don't know much about the processing methods and have never tried it, but it is probably better than white sugar. I'd say to research the individual ingredients a bit more--growing, harvesting, processing methods, etc. to determine how 'clean' it is.
If you are watching calories I'd say to watch this one . . . not to overdue it.
