This is one of my favorites prior to a hard workout:

1 cup coconut milk or water
1 level tsp of granulated coffee grounds
cinnamon to taste
large handful of spinach
handfull of blueberries
ice

*blend
___________________

The coffee gives you a great kick through a hard workout, and it tastes like a lattee with 2 servings of hidden veggies! (spinach).
If you want to make it decadent, add a TBSP of peanut butter...it'll take like a haagen das!

1 C Strawberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 C Water, cold
13 grams Pure whey protein powder
2 t Granulated fructose
1 1/3 Almonds, sliced

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

This recipe is from a great book "The Formula" by Gene & Joyce Daoust. They have many great smoothie recipes. My favorite is an Almond Mocha Blended Latte with protein pwdr.

1 scoop protein powder
1 green tea powder
1 tb. spiralina powder (my veggies)
1tb. ground flaxseed
handful of frozen blueberries and or strawberries
almond milk (I like vanilla)
bee pollen
I like it because it gives me lots of energy and all my nutrients.

The one I use is modified after Angela's blog, Oh She Glows:

1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop protein powder (amazing greens chocolate infusion)
2 handfuls of spinach
1 small banana
70 g of frozen blueberries
0.75 c almond milk
0.25 c coconut milk
ice

Yummy! But it is high in calories - so you can modify it as you want.

Could you help me by posting some good smoothie/protein shake recipes for breakfast? Im in smoothie info. overload.

Please post your recipe, what's good about it and why it works for you.
