Still I am curious about experience from others. This way of eating is not known (yet) in the netherlands. No dutch books I can find at least.
Cutting the bread and milk is no problem. What I find difficult is to put the portions and combinations into practice. Also I wonder about the no calorie counting. I am afraid I will eat not enough calories, what is also not healthy.
Do not turn back when you are almost at your goal!
I tend to eat a lot of meat and fish and berries which I expect is similar to that diet but I do not specifically follow it. If you look on wikipedia about it there is also debate about how much meat early man did eat. Often women provided most food that they picked or dug up and once in a while men managed to hunt something when they could be bothered. I still think most US and UK people would benefit from eating a lot more meat and fish than most of us do and a lot less of other things.
