Today will be some cheese small amount and about 5 rice crackers and some almonds and walnuts or i will skip the almonds and walnuts and have one apple or orange.

Perhaps you could find a good blender at a 2nd hand shop or online Ebay or Gumtree or Craigs List for cheaper than new.

The one I have and love is the Nutri ninja Auto IQ it is the best in my opinion for the price bracket I could not justify paying the money for a Vita Mix which is known to be the worlds best most powerful blender.






Hoping to have a smoothie again for lunch but we'll see how I go am about to head out soon.

POSITIVE-PAULA : thank you for you encouragement. You know, I see all this stuff about smoothies but never made one. Was checking out prices of those machines but just not possible right now. Did better today.
Lunch: two servings of Daves Killer 21 grain and seed bread, a wee bit of mayo, low sodium turkey bacon (this one is NOT one I like), organic mixed baby greens and tomato. Had 2% milk that is not homogenized. It is sold in stores in a glass jar that is returnable.

Homemade veggie pizza. I make the crust and add homemade marinara sauce and top it with onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, thinly sliced zucchini, olives and spinach. After it's done and cooled off.. I sprinkle on nutritional yeast.

Has anyone got hints for my kids lunches? Both hate nut butters (it's a texture thing), and both are pretty nervous about starting to eat clean. But I want to make sure they have plenty of protein choices, because their tougher classes are after lunch.
