A yummy pasta salad...
whole grain pasta with flax seed, black beans, tomato, celery, red pepper, seedless cucumber, amish white cheddar cheese, with EVOO and balsamic vinegar.
It was delicious.

Made a wonderful blend of fresh greens/ with a dash of feta cheese, macro greens, cilantro, tomatoes, kalamatra olives, tomatoes, sprinkled lightly w/ sunflower seeds and white radishes w/ light dressing. emoticon I felt so good afterwards!

Today I had boiled Shirataki noodes (which are amazing) with spaghetti sauce and meatballs.. It felt good to be able to enjoy one of my favorite foods (PASTA!) without actually eating pasta lol =)

Today I am going light with a yogurt and fruit cup (my own combo made with plain yogurt and real fruit)

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

My son took me to Chipotle today (not somewhere I would usually go.) Was surprised to see that their proteins come from local and decent suppliers, their veggies are also local and some are organic.
I opted for a salad and had lettuce, black beans, sauted bell peppers & onions, chicken, and pico de Galo salsa.
Apart from the fact that it was a little too salty for my taste, it was OK.

At Whole Foods for lunch today...
2 small pieces roast chicken (skin removed)
Sauted zucchini and squash
2 small scoops Edamame

And once I got home, a thin slice of homemade banana walnut bread (made with 2/3 the regular amount of sugar.)

I'm making chili with 93% lean bison, black beans, corn and mixed bell peppers. Will serve it with brown rice and a dollop of organic (Horizon) sour cream.
