1 scoop Shakeology (1st breakfast, about 5AM)
1/2C oats (in water, 2nd breakfast)

3C soymilk (strewn out through the day but starting AM in coffee, then in tea thoughout day--I drink about 3C of tea at work...and I drink 3L of spring water each day!).

Smoothie made with 4 oz. Oikos plain greek yogurt, 4 oz. unsweetened almond milk, small banana, 1 packet J. Robb Chocolate Whey Protein powder (Clean Eating approved!), and some ice. Yum - it was like dessert for breakfast!

I guess I'm falling into a convenient pattern:
full-fat yoghurt, some kind of fruit like banana, apple, berries of various kinds, some kind of nuts like almond, cashew, walnut, coconut, some kind of seed like flaxseed, sesame seed, hemp seed, and sometimes some kind of rolled grain (smaller amount) like oats.

Most days its organic raisin bran, organic type of mini-wheats, or organic shredded oats and blueberries. With local skim milk where cows are raised on pasture, only treated with antibiotics if they need it, and minimally pasteurized. On running days I eat a hard-boiled egg (we raise our own chickens).

Once in awhile I'll get organic non-nitrate bacon and then fry an egg in olive oil. Those are splurge days. :D

Starting today I'm going completely wheat-free. I'll mostly skip the bread, lots of buckhweat pancakes and millet and quinoa instead. After starting to read the book "Wheatbelly" I have hopes of significantly improving my health by doing this.
Today it's buckwheat pancakes made with buckwheat flour,duck eggs and whole milk, walnuts, a little honey, with blueberries on top.
