My favorite go-to meal is a chicken recipe I pulled together: chicken with Garlic powder, pepper, and paprika - place under broiler until done (usually about 10-15 minutes). I like it best with brown rice, but if I am short on time it goes well with bulgar or whole wheat couscous. A sweet potato only takes 5 minutes in the microwave. My quick veggies are frozen mixed veggies that I always keep on hand.
Here are a few: plain greek yogurt w/ frozen berries; hard boiled egg with tomato & ezekiel toast; 1/4 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds); beef jerky; or 1 TBS PB. That's if I am starving & in a huge hurry.
I have tried clean eating before, but not great at sticking to it because I get bored easy, and am very busy. What is everyone's " go to" meal when your busy and hungry?! Something easy to throw together and taste good? Thanks!
