Hi there, CONGRATS. I started cooler #2 last Monday, I will keep an eye on this thread, keep us informed, and I will do the same, let's see how we do. I like you have alot of repeats until I get the gist of this all a little more, but I have had great success so far, EXCEPT, this weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada, and I did slip quite a bit this weekend, but i'm back on the wagon now, and don't have another food holiday till xmas. So I am much glad for that, lol!

I wanted to attempt the Cooler 3 since I know that if it's really hard I'll go back to eating trash again. So it's my first few days and it's been difficult especially because I've been so tired! I'm working on getting the other books but right now I only have the re-charged and the latest Clean Eating magazine.

Good Luck!

To save on the budget I really recommend looking for a bulk food store in your area, sometimes they are part of an organic store too. They will usually have things like whole flax seed available much cheaper than the regular grocery stores.

They also often have many spices for 70%+ off the cost of retail purchased spices.

My only tip would be to use a lot of spices, fresh if you can, dried works too to punch up the flavor so that regular foods don't become boring. Give something an Italian flare one day and a Mediterranean flare a couple later to keep it mixed up and exciting! =D Good luck!

One day, one step at a time. We will succeed.

Do you have any of the Eat Clean Diet books? Tosca Reno explains three different "cooler" plans... #1 is for "hardcore eating for rapid results", #2 is for "strict eating for best long-term results and year-round maintenance" and #3 is for "getting used to the idea of eating for health and life". Those quotes are from the book The Eat-Clean Diet Recharged.

I'm not hardcore, but I'm ready to dedicate myself 100% {it's a 30 day personal challenge I am trying} so I skipped plan 3 and went with 2.

If you haven't read any of Tosca's books, you should definitely pick them up at your local library!

I am not Barefoot but I am sure you will love it! Though I will be doing so in a couple months in the future. Best of luck.
