I use Organic 365 Brand (the store brand from Whole Foods). Very, very clean! It also has the best taste of any protein powder I've ever tried and I've tried every majoy brand out there ect for the veggie ones.

Clean Eating is like a bad religion- full of obsession and accult thinking.

I really like Amazing Grass' powder 'Amazing Meal.' I have both the chocolate and the vanilla chai flavors- it's the yummiest of any I've tried.

t's a protein powder AND a greens powder, so I feel like you get a lot of (tasty) bang for your buck. It's also gluten-free, if that's a concern for you (I'm Celiac, so I always have to look out). Hope this is helpful!

In the past I tried Prograde Whey Protein powder. It's natural, soy free, and sweetened with stevia. But, I decided that I am getting enough protein through my everyday diet.

I love the Amazing Meal Origianl. It's organic, raw, and cold processed. It uses hemp and rice protein. Also has a probiotic blend in it and added flax and phyto nutrients.

I use GenSoy Natural soy protein, you can buy it at Kroger in the Natural Market section. I also have some brown rice protein, but I don't remember the brand...it is much sweeter than the soy, though, so be careful that you don't add it to anything that is already sweet or it will be too much!!

Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.

I don't know if this will interest anyone, but I've just picked up some Bob's Red Mill Soy Protein Powder:

Check out the nutritonal data... only contains isolated soy protein...NOTHING ELSE ADDED. However, there are only 5g of protein per TBSP, but also only 20 cal....

I've also been trying to find one, so I'll check these out! I always fall short on protein, pretty much every day, so I need to do better at fitting some in. I just boiled some eggs to eat tomorrow!!

Ingredients: Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate (milk) (providing beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, Immunoglobulins and Glycomacro Peptides) and Soy Lecithin (less than 1%).

It doesn't get much cleaner than that. I use this stuff all the time. It mixes pretty well and you can add it to soups and sauces in addition to the traditional smoothie. I'd definitelyt recommend this stuff, it doesn't taste amazing by itself, but you won't even notice it in a smoothie, soup, sauce, etc.

FYI - Unflavored just means they don't add flavor...the stuff has a taste which I am guessing is just the taste of the protein.

I use optimum nutrition, the regular version. They also have a "natural" version that isn't suppose to use artificial sweeteners.

The best reviews I've seen have been from bodybuilding.com and amazon.com.

I really like Life's Basics Greens Vegan Protein. I mix it with Almond Milk in a shaker and it's perfect! I purchase it online at Vitacost or Iherb because in stores I have found it to be $10 more.

What kind do you use? I've searched and read ingredients, but always leave the store without one.
