Today was supposed to be a rest day but I couldn't resist jumping on my exercise bike this morning and pedaling away while I was watching a tivo'ed episode Sheer Genius!!! I love reality TV!!!

7/20 Sunday 60 minutes cardio (stationary bike)

7/21 Monday 30 minutes cardio 45 minutes ST (15 minutes elliptical before and after ST and 60 minutes stationary bike after work)

7/22 Tuesday 40 minute EZ run + 600 meter striders
(42:08 minutes run 4.04 miles, 10:25 pace oops I forgot the striders)

7/23 Wednesday 30 minutes cardio 45 minutes ST
(45 minutes ST upper body, back shoulders and abs, 15 minutes stationary bike before and after ST)

7/24 Thursday 45 minute EZ run
(48:34 minutes, 4.53 miles, 10:42 pace)

7/25 Friday rest day
(60 minutes stationary bike)

7/26 Saturday 45 minute EZ run

Put the baby in the double stroller and walked for over 2 hrs. We walked by the river and through downtown....beautiful. As soon as he's done eating, I am finishing my ST (was interrupted by starving baby LOL!)

Tues - 1 mile on treadmill, ran half at 5 mph
Wed - 3.78 miles, ran a little over 1/2 mile (just over 1 hour)

I like the rules for the games. I may add those to mine. Right now the kids have to read, do "workpages" or clean for 30 min to get some game time. I like the exercise idea....maybe it will get them outside more.

I have done ST 3X's this week and have yet to get the cardio in. Didn't make it to the gym yesterday because dh took the kids swimming and I had the baby. My gym is girls-only on Tues, Thurs and Sat so maybe I can get there on Sat to make up for yesterday. Today I am taking the kids for a walk since I am walking my 2 older ones to their friend's house. I will probably end up at the park so I can get additional cardio in there. Sorry...thinking out loud!!!

walked with my girls earlier today and then did some weights for my arms....then took a nap LOL I didn't get my B-12 shot this morning and boy did I ever need it. I made it through though....tomorrow another walk or a bike ride. I put some rules in effect today for the Wii, playstation, computer. If they want more time allowed they have to exercise for atleast 20 minutes. They got them outside several different times today.

My goal is to find some way to exercise, period. I have a 22 month old with a very involved medical condition and I have been spending 12+ hours a day holding her for the past couple of weeks, as she has been in a great deal of pain.

I'm fighting depression and exhaustion and guilty feelings for having a hard time staying cheerful when she isn't doing any of this on purpose. I could in theory exercise at 9:00 pm after I have put her to bed and done the fresh nasty laundry that really can't wait, but at that point I have been collapsing into bed most nights. She wakes me up between 4 and 5 screaming these days, so getting up before her isn't currently a workable strategy either.

Anyway, I'm not trying to get on a pity party, so I'll stop there. Let it suffice to say I'm struggling to find time to exercise and I resolve to find some somehow.

My goal is to ST at least 4 times this week and 60 min of cardio on the other days for a total of 7X and at least 3500 kcal on my fitness report for the week...add to that no less than four romantic encounters initiated by me (it's kind of the chicken and the egg but for some reason these two things go together, if I'm active in one, I'm active in the other)

Monday - only did 30 min cardio on the elliptical, but as far as the secondary goal...boom chicka bow wow, right on track :)

My goal is to do intervals when on the treadmill or the elliptical! 1 minute at 5rpms then 1 minute at 8 (have to run or jog that one!) on a 3 incline. I will do this for at least 20 minutes, 3 days this week!

I just did my first today!

I need a workout challenge to motivate my butt....whose with me!!... I challenge EVERYONE to set one work out goal for the week and check in daily with the challenge met!! At the end of the week let's see who met the challenge every day!! ...
