Hi! and Welcome!!!
I think two of the things that have helped me the most in the past - and that I should be focusing on myself right now (hmmmm.....) - are portion control and drinking enough water. The water really does flush your system. When I first started seriously dieting a couple years ago, I made sure to get in that 64 oz each day, and I lost 7 or 8 lbs the very first week!
Thanks for giving me a chance to remember what I really need to be doing!

You've certainly come to the right place! Body, mind and spirit and your HEALTH can be healed all with a lot of help from your fellow Sparkers! Only a keyboard away. Journalling is so helpful for me, posting notes, and making exercise and good food a priority. Make yourself a priority and ask questions and get buddies, all of it will help you find your path! welcome to the team, i'm learning new stuff everyday, and people on this team are great.

I everbody...what a great group! I am new to Sparkpeople and new to this attitude that says "it's time and I'm willing" to get this extra weight off, get healthy and get fit!
