Yes, I think I'm carb-sensitive as well and often after eating them I'm tired. I have heard that having them in the morning is the best time though.

Yes, we CAN do it. What is so wonderful to me about eating low GI is that I'm not hungry. I find myself very sensitive to carbs and when I eat what a normal person might have... A half cup of brown rice, if I eat it late afternoon or later, I spend the rest of the evening hungry. I eat the carbs in early morning and I'm okay. Of course there are times when I get cravings for junk but that's another story. emoticon

Yes, it's very low carb, adchoices are the same as GI plan. Red light, yellow etc. the idea is to give the pancreas a rest and not eat anything that brings on an abrupt sugar spike. Ahh, I'm finding it not as easy as reading about it. emoticon

Not familiar with the Thinsulin Plan so looked it up. Sounds similar to low carb.
