I put lavender on the bottom of my feet to help me sleep. Just put a few drops on and let it dry for about 30 seconds before you step on your foot or put it under the covers. It really does help me sleep! I have also been using it aromatically. I have a difusser (Can't spell this morning!) and it helps me stay relaxed and sleep better when I go to bed.
I too have a modern essentials book. Do you have the 4th edition?? That is the new book out last year. It has the new oils they have come out with in the last year in it.
