Hmmm....my April mileage goal was 150 miles. I only got up to 69.88 miles.
I think that I thought I would be getting more miles in because I was going to bike every morning while the kids were getting ready for school. That didn't really happen. I find myself checking my email instead, "just for a few minutes"...next thing you know, my window of opportunity has passed and it's time to get to work! If I DON'T check my email, even just 1 day, I'll have over 200 emails in my inbox. Then it takes twice as long to go through them all. Last week, I didn't check for about 3 1/2 days...I had over 1000 emails...it took me all saturday morning to go through it all! Obviously, my plan is not working. Will have to figure out something else. Unsubscribing doesn't really seem to be working. Maybe just assigning a certain time during the day for checking email (like during my lunch hour as I eat at my desk) might help, and maybe again while I'm cooking dinner. I dunno...gotta do something different...kinda bummed out now!!
Regardless of all this, I will keep my monthly goal the same...150 miles in May. We'll see what happens!
