For my program, I am designing my own program using guidelines from the various BeFit programs. I am switching between the BeFit in 30 Extreme and the BeFit GO series. There are so many great workouts between these two programs. So remember even when you are done with your first round of BeFit in 90, there are still plenty of videos and programs to do to remain in the BeFit program. Please let me know if you need any help finding the new videos and programs offered by BeFit. I have become a bit obsessed and these are the ONLY videos I am doing at the moment...can't beat FREE! Lol!

I also fit in running when I can. I do my BeFit videos in the morning and then try to get a run/walk in in the evenings on nights when it fits in the hectic schedule!

I have been just running when I can and moving that day of BeFit to the next day.
Monday: day 1
Tuesday: run
Wednesday: day 2

That just fits into my schedule better. If I have time on the weekend I will do a run and a BeFit day, but only if I keep the run short (30 minutes or less than 3 miles). Otherwise I don't feel like I am doing justice to either.

Does anyone have any recommendations for adding walking/running into the program? I'm not really sure what days to add it in.

When I run with my dog my arms and traps are always sore the next day. He is pretty good but there are few dogs that make him really mad and if someone follows us it isn't good for me.

Thank you! That's interesting you noticed a difference. I didn't notice anything. I took my dog with me for the first week and a half, but then stopped because he just seemed too tired afterwards. I noticed after I stared going by myself how much easier it was though. What kind of changes did you notice?

Great job on completing Phase 2. I am slow going because of running too, but I can definitely see where the strength exercises have helped my running. Have you seen any effects on your running?

Two more days and then I'll be doing Phase 3! Phase 2 went a bit slower because I started SP's Rookie to 5k training program and did BeFit on the cross training days. But then the weather got too warm for me to want to run, and now the park is flooded so I'm back to just BeFit. I don't know if it was because I was jogging for three weeks, but I definently found phase two to be more fun than phase one. I loved how Cardio Booster didn't repeat any of the exercises. If I didn't like a certain exercise, I knew it would soon be over and I wouldn't have to do it for a couple days. I'm still loving the MMA!

I started the BeFit in 30 Extreme Level 1 today and I am hooked again. I was worried about what to start after the other challenge and I just have to say I love the YouTube channel. There is always some workout to do at home at the touch of my fingertips...no EXCUSES!!

That's awesome Hc-Ski! I am excited to be finishing next week, but I know I need something else to keep me going on such a regular routine. I think I am going to try the BeFit 30 Day extreme! Yikes!

I also Zumba and jog as well. I do need the variety. The 1st and 2nd month got a little repetitive for me, but the 3rd month is challenging enough that I am not getting as bored. Good luck on your re-start. If nothing else, it provides a consistent workout that keeps me on a schedule.

Thanks Asoria, I, like Aqua, was starting to hàte the respetitiveness of month 1. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough strength of character to stick with it...I dropped it for jogging. But I missed the strength videos and felt bad about my total lack of consistency. Youv've just inspired me to restart the course (3rd time, the charm?) again April 2nd. I'm going to modify the schedule to work with mine better. So...thanks.

Hang in there! I was just like you...needed the variety. I really liked the second and third phase! The third month is focused on plyometrics with strength training. I am currently on Day 76 and looking forward to completing, but I too like a lot of the strength videos and plan to continue to do them. Good luck and keep us updated. Sorry for my slow response.

I made it to day 23 at the beginning of the week, but I realized I'm getting bored with the cardio, warm up, and the cool downs. There's not much of variety. I still like the strength training videos and kept those up. I did other stretches and walked/jogged for the cardio. After taking the week off, I'm going to go back and redo this week. I'm so close to month 2, I can't give up now.

@Asoria: nope. Not even close to finished yet. I seem to be a bit injury and accident prone...I'm blaming endorphin-induced recklessness (and my own stupidity). I'm slowly working on catching up with modifications. Still hoping to finish at the end of April, but not guaranteeing it since I'll have to take a week and a half off at end of March). :((
Let us know what reaching the end feels like, results, whatever?

@Zoe: you are an awesome captain...I wouldn't be doing this at all if not for you. Would've quit every time the going got tough or life got me down. I want to see this through partly (a little) for me, but mostly cause I don't want to renege on my promise to see this to the end.
Hope your computer gets better! :)

I restarted BeFit in February since I pulled a muscle in my butt/back during petit 4's and Sumos. Love the MMA portion! Yesterday during an MMA exercise, I found myself picturing chocolate bars, ice cream, and baked potatoes loaded with butter. I gave them all knock-out punches while protecting a Fruit if the Loom gang behind me (apples, oranges, grapes, etc). It was quite fun and gave me a little extra "uumph." Lol!

The rest day videos really aren't anything all that new. I can't wait to get into Phase Two at the beginning of the week. I am looking forward to some increased intensity. I am also looking ahead to after the 90 Days. I found a BeFit in 30 high intensity program on the BeFit channel. Really love the channel! I find myself surfing around looking for different videos to try. I did a Denise Austin Core and Upper Body with a ball w/o. It was fun!

I noticed that except the firsts ons, I can watch the rest days video. It says the video is not available for my region. Are you really learning valuable information with this or is it just stuff we already know?

Lovin' it! I had a huge setback leaving me on Day 25 today. I pulled a calf muscle on Sunday morning and thought I would be down for a few weeks. Luckily, it has improved everyday and I was able to pick back up today after only missing two days. Thankfully, it was an easy workout with upper body ST and MMA phase 1 so I could manage without engaging my calf much. I am so glad we are all in this together. It helps push to know there are others doing it with you!

I still don't have it memorized enough to not listen, I might end up injuring myself. But it does sound like that would make it a lot more interesting.

Completed day 14 today so glad I got to work out with our dynamic duo. ha ha. Tomorrow i think I'm going to get a little fancy with my jump rope. Ok I'm being silly now laters.

Did day 23 yesterday!
Since a week now, I've been listening to my own playlist (created on deezer.com) while training instead of listening to the coaches (I now know what they're going to say.)

Cyn- ahhh...burpies! Can't quite get my legs jumped back right...but I am with you on that goal. We can do it. I am already noticing that I can do those sit ups a lot better than when I first started. It's awesome to see some progression so quickly.

Woohoo I just finished day 9. I will be doing burpees by the end of the thirty days ha ha. Yeah the speed of the yoga might be what I'm finding off putting. Like i have no idea what chattaranga is so I just skip to updog. Hopefully I spelled those right.

The Yoga is fast but after a couple of repitition is getting easier because I know what's coming.
Today I'll do day 12! Just had an argument with my boyfriend and I think it's gonna help me blow some steam to lift some weights!

Just did Day 5 my weekend was a bit hectic getting my brother back to school. I actually kinda like that the videos repeat, it makes it easier to transition since you have an idea of what's coming next. The yoga also went a lot better today, still not really a fan though but by the end you never know. I'll be taking a walk later on to get some cardio in.

Also I think I might throw in some weights for my walks with Leslie Sansone they are starting to get a little too easy for me and I do love a good challenge.

The videos are pretty much always the same, at least in the first week!

I just did Day 5. It was all strenght, so I thought I needed some cardio. I went easy with Leslie Sansone 2 miles walk. I thought it was stupid to follow a video to walk inside, but it's a great easy to follow workout. The intensity level is not high, but I was already tired tonight so that was perfect!

Woohoo just finished day 2. My first time doing yoga. I'll probably start watching the videos in advance so i'm not straining my neck trying to see what they are doing. I'll also have to have some bigger weights around as well. I'll do a walking video tomorrow so my muscles can recuperate.

Let us know how it goes with only one rest day at the end of the week emoticon

I'm done with Day 4. I'm glad I bought 10 pounds weights and not only 5's. The 5 pounds dumbbells are perfect for shoulders work but for biceps, I need the 10 pounds emoticon

Day 2 is done! It was a lot easier for me to do then day 1. I will be doing day 4 tomorrow and not taking a rest day. My rest days are Saturday and Sunday. One of the weekend days really are not a rest day-I will run a virtual race on one day or the other. The other will be a complete rest day.

I started day 1 a day late. I have a hard time with the floor exercises as well but over all I really enjoyed the workout. I want to be able to do the workouts without the modifications at the end as well. The second time around day 1 was definitely a lot easier for me, even after having a week break in between. Excited to do day 2 tomorrow.

I do most of the plank excersice on my knees, other wise I just can't do them, and certainly not in proper form. But by the end, I hope I'll be able to follow everything without modifications :)
Glad you started :)

I promised Zoe (before this group started) that I'd start BeFit on January 6. Slacker that I have been so far this winter, I started it today. It was tough (I really struggle with the plank-style exercises), but I am now caught up. I split up the videos throughout the day and thankfully Day3 is a rest day...or they'd be scrapping me off the floor. lol.

Zoe- I typed in my own favorite. One as strength and the other as cardio and split the workout minutes according to that days workout. Just using an educated guess to determine calories burned.

Congrats on Day 1!!

Yeah! I have officially started! Day One is done!
Tomorrow will be hard because I have a cousin night because one of my cousin who lives in California is home! I'll either do it tomorrow if I don't come back too late or tuesday and do my rest day tomorrow.

I wondered: how do you track the workouts?

I'll probably start on the 7th since my house tends to be more hectic on the weekends and I probably wont be able to get the TV. I'll be plugging my laptop up to my television in the living room for these videos for more space and it's hard to see the screen for exercises on the floor. I tried day 1 today as a test drive and I can tell this is going to a very fun and challenging series.
