It's week 3 of the Summer Challenge and we are half way through June! How is everybody doing? I've been out of town since Friday otherwise I would have posted in here more often. Sorry!!

For those who started at the beginning of the challenge please feel free to copy and paste your tracking into a new post so you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom. There is going to be quite a few more posts before the end of the month so it may get lost down there :)

This weeks nutrition challenge is.....

We all love vegetables right? I would love for you guys to get a serving at each meal for this challenge. I know I can do two easily but I have a hard time getting them added in the morning so I try to add them to at lease one snack when I'm eating like I should and making good choices.

How are those workouts going? Next month we kick it up a notch so get ready!!!

How did everybody do!
I'm happy to report that I am down 1.1 pounds! Yay for water!! :)

How are we doing this week? I have yet to workout this week, yikes!! Tomorrow I will be getting up and getting that done for surely.

I went to the grocery store and bought some good stuff to have all my fruit ready for the rest of the week. Apples, bananas, and grapes were my choices this week....What were yours?

Hang in there ladies!! WE CAN DO THIS!!

Allright second nutrition goal for this challenge is fruit!! Try to get 2-3 servings of fruit in each day! Apples and berries are your best choice, but if you are just starting out, eat whatever fruit that you like.

How will you eat your fruit?
For me I usually have an apple with lunch. Sometimes I have a banana or grapes for an afternoon snack at work. Or I throw a banana in the blender in the morning with a smoothie. I have to say I'm not the biggest berry fan but I LOVE apples! :)

Tomorrow is weigh-in Wednesday! Weigh in and share the difference from last week. You don't have to share your weight!!

Woohoo!! First week of the challenge is almost done! Today is last chance workout for those that still need get those workouts in. I almost missed my third but I got it in last night with some Just Dance :) Hey, if you're workin' up a sweat you're workin' out!!

Allright so tonight's last chance work out is a little Pop Pilates Challenge that I do from time to time on Youtube. After this workout you are going to feel "Bootyful" !!

Today is Weigh-In Wednesday!!

In order to know where we are going we have to know where we are at. Today I want you to weigh in, take measurements and pictures. You don't have to share them with us, but I want you to write them down somewhere so you can keep track of your progress. We will weigh in every wednesday from here on out and then the first Wednesday of each month we will take measurements and progress pics again.

Welcome 35Angels!! So excited to have you join us on what's going to be an Awesome summer challenge!!

How's your water intake going. With my workout today I got in 2 cups! Woohoo!! One way to help keep track if you are drinking out of water bottles is to put as many as want to drink for the day in the fridge so they nice, cool, and ready to go. That you won't have to remember how many drank, you can see how many you have left to drink :)

This weeks Nutrition Challenge!!

Water is so important when it comes to your everyday health!! If you are dehydrated, you can get really sick! With it warming up outside now is more important than ever to really pay attention to your water intake.

As a guideline, to make sure you get the water that you need, you should be drinking half of your weight in water. For example, if you weight 200 pounds, you should be drinking around 100 ounces of water a day. Sounds crazy right! But it is amazing the effects it will have on you when you do it. It clears your skin, fills you up, keeps things regular, and quenches your thirst properly.

Now don't try drinking it all at once!! That is not good and could possibly harm you! Spread it through out the day. Today I want you to start this nutrition challenge by drinking a glass of water when you wake up, add a glass of water to every meal, and drink another glass before you go to bed. If you eat 3 meals a day, that's 5 glasses of water...roughly 40 ounces if you do 8 ounce glasses. If you use 16 ounce glasses or a bottle of water, you will be roughly at 80 ounces.

Hey Everyone! I've been trying to think up a good challenge here to get you all involved and get me motivated. To be completely honest with you all I really have been a slacking. It's time to stop making excuses and to just start doing something. Anything!! The hardest part is starting. Once you've done that all you have to do is not stop!

We are going to start a summer challenge. It's going to be fitness and nutrition related. Let's take the next 3 months and really transform ourselves! We can do this!!

If you are following the DDP Calendar, we are going to shoot for working out 3x a week this month and add one nutrition goal each week, so make sure you have subscribed to this forum so you can get in on the weekly challenges. I'm not going to email them, as not everyone will be joining us.

So let's get started!!
