emoticon Well, I am glad I signed up for this challenge. My abs are firmer and my arms are stronger. Thanks for doing this.

So how did you all do on the challenge? Did you like it, or are you sick of abs and arms?

I have to say that I'm better at pushups than before and my arms are looking better :)

emoticon Thanks, Crystal. Your encouragement is appreciated. I will go back to knee pushups except for when I am doing DDPYOGA.

Hey Everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of weeks. It's been birthday month at my house so things have been a bit crazy :)

How's everybody doing on the challenge? I love that you are seeing results!! Those planks are killer aren't they! My advice, if you are struggling, don't give up. Yvonne, you are doing great. Take a break, rest, and then get back up and try again. Are you doing it on your knees or doing a full plank? Try doing it on your knees to build up your arm strength if you haven't already. A full fledged plank for that long may not be achievable yet.

emoticon Hi Everyone, How are you doing? I have to admit that while I can see some significant changes in my arms and upper abdomen, I still am unable to do the plank in one shot. Does anyone have some suggestions? 1 min and 25 sec to hold the plank and I am shaking long before that so I rest then try again.

emoticon Hi Angela, I love your spirit! I still am bad at planks but getting better. So glad you are joining us in this challenge. I do mine first thing in the morning after getting out of bed and making it then it gets me in the mood for exercise! Not quite as easy with little ones around so I will be cheering for you. Hugs.

emoticon How are you all doing with this challenge? I am already noticing a difference in my arms and upper abdominal areas. However, while I can do the 1min 5 sec plank on my knees I am only able to do the full plank for 2 sets of 30 seconds and 1 set of 5 seconds. The side planks from my knees the same is true except for the full plank on my feet I am only able to do 30 sec plank, 25 sec plank, and then 10 sec plank. The crunches and pushups are easier. Probably because of the work we did in the DDPYOGA!

Tomorrow I start on Day 18 of this series.

I am cheering for you all ... let us know where you are. I really appreciate the Wednesday and Sunday rest ... my muscles appreciate the recovery time! Hugs.

emoticon Crystal,

I printed out the exercise calendar for April and put it with my exercise plan for April. I completed the April 1st exercises. Took my arm measurements. (Unable to take pictures as I don't have a camera that posts.) It will be interesting to see the changes by the end of the month. I am hoping to be much stronger.

My BIL died recently, so Joel and I went up to the Interior to help Joel's sister get her house ready to put on the market to sell. It was a difficult time for her but we were glad we could be with her and give her some emotional as well as practical support. She is a gem! We did get a lot accomplished both inside and outside of her house so she is putting it on the market tomorrow. Hope it sells soon, it is just too much for her to keep up. I wish we lived closer!

Hi Yvonne! Welcome back! I hope you had a good time at your SIL

Day 1 is done for me! The crunches and the plank was easy, but I really have lost a lot of strength in my arms, because I was struggling with those pushups :)

I strongly suggest you all take before pictures today, flexing your arms from the front and the back. Also take some measurements as well. I think we should all see some good changes by the end the of the month. By the way, the top 3 posters in this thread will receive a team goodie!! Hope you all have a great day and see you tomorrow!

Hey Everyone! The first day of April is tomorrow and this next challenge ain't no joke! I'm posting a link to this months workout calendar. If you are up for the challenge, print out your calendar somewhere you can see it every day. Check in with us here and post your results, your accomplishment, struggles, whatever you would like to share with us.

If you need to start with a lower or higher number of reps, that is fine! If you need to repeat a day, that is fine too! This is a challenge with yourself not anyone else.

Summer will be here before you know it, so lets get it started!! emoticon sweetcrystal200.tumblr.com/po
