I just read the most amazing book -- I loaded it on my e-reader, but you can also get it in paperback "Everyday Saints" written by a monk-priest in Moscow named Archimandrite Tikhon Shevkunov. Here's the Amazon listing: www.amazon.com/Everyday-Saints-Stories-Arc
He tells wonderful stories about his conversion, the people he has met, and the monasteries he has come in contact with. The book is really a series of short stories, so you can come to stopping places in the book. Then later pick it up and read so more.
The stories really make you think, and give you a taste of Christianity in Russia.

This is the day that the Lord had made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; both now and ever and unto the ages of ages, Amen.
