There are days I eat on the high side of the calorie range because I am hungry usually for protein.
Other days I am below the calorie range.
Think it balances out.

I strive to hit the lower range but usually hit the higher range. Of course that is why I got overweight in the first place. So I mostly try to eat more healthily......lots of fruits and veggies!

I just eat when hungry or need the protein after exercise. Sometimes it ends up in the low to middle of the range. Once in awhile, but not often, I reach the high end or even over a couple of times.

I set out to reach the lower end, then see how I'm feeling. Do I need more? If so, I eat more. Evaluating if that is working for me.

I didn't start out to just reach the lower end, but most of the time that's what I was doing. Lately, I've been trying to eat more, but looking at my numbers for yesterday, I didn't do too good at that.
